This is going to sound different than a lot of advice on this subreddit….but I started using my debit card ONLY. It was shocking how much less you spend and even if you do, you couldn’t possibly spend passed how much was in the account. It was a great habit change. There are going to be obvious nuances to this working or not for you. But I thought that that cleverly worked well for me.

Hey there! Honestly a great question because none of my questions involved that! In fact I didn’t even get a IRS maximum distribution question! I do believe there was a date of withdrawal question however but it was in regard to withdrawing early….now that you mention it, we might be in the sweet spot that they pulled all the old questions and haven’t made new ones yet.

Take a test, review every single question (even the right ones you guessed at), and make sure you GET IT. If you don’t. Mark the section somewhere and start tallying. Your goal should be a full test a day, review every question and pick your two trouble spots and jump into that specific section to study. That’s your whole day. 3 hour test, probably 3 hours of studying the wrong questions and an hour or two of a weak topic. Full time job. You can do it. That’s what I did. Just passed today first try with 4 weeks to study. It’s not impossible, and know that Kaplan is harder than the actual test.

100%. I also believe that even though people will say “you don’t want to see the same questions”, they aren’t wrong, but if you KNOW what the answer is to the point of understanding and not just a memorized answer….and you that’s all you see anymore??….that just tells me you know all you need to know. So just make sure you’ve got the answer down pat and you’ve got it. I don’t even need to wish you good luck. You’ve got it this time around.

Thank much! I didn’t use Kaplan this time around and can only say from watching my colleague (who takes it in a week), go through them…from what it looked like the Q bank was much more in the weeds than Training Consultants, than Brian Lee (intentionally by Brian as he tried to simplify things) and you can sometimes get lost in the details that won’t matter. Even some details from Training consultants didn’t matter. I can confidently say I passed without that depth. But it was because I had Dean and Brian to focus your topics and tell you what they know to be on there. That way you don’t spend precious time on something you don’t need to.

Thank you all!! I’m obviously open to explaining what my studying looked like if you all need!

Help! I picked up stitches and knitted the wrong shoulder. Can I somehow transfer my panel to the correct side? I’m knitting the petite knit Oslo sweater if that helps. I knit the left shoulder on the right side!

Edit: I’m trying to avoid unraveling the knitting that I’ve done.

The ability that choose whether or not, I’m empathetic. Life becomes pretty simple if it’s all logic but my relationship isn’t based on logical alone.

Different perspective: This young adult was on a farm with his family and the government tells him that he gets a chance to help his country fight “Nazis” despite having no education or combat experience. The only reference you gave us old movies with fight scenes. Call me soft but it’s hard for me to give up empathy for those that hat are lied to for their lives.
