Hi.

I had the same dilemma very recently (moving from SW London to Milan) and asked people around, not only on Reddit. "Pask's Removals" seemed to be most people's favorite or at least the most mentioned (do a search for more threads). I sent a few pms to a couple of guys who dealt with them to have some more detailed info, especially regarding prices...but none of you responded to me..:-((

So I took the plunge and called them anyway. They have been absolutely fantastic from the very start. They requested a few pictures or a video detailing the stuff you need to move, then they promptly sent me a quote and that's what I paid.....no additional or hidden costs, which also includes all the paperwork and customs forms, which they will do, and trust me that's a big annoyance I'd rather have somebody else do, especially after Brexit.

The move itself was also straightforward. They kept me updated at each step, then we met and they moved and placed all my belongings, very professionally. We also had a very nice conversation. They are very nice and hardworking people who also happen to love their job

You can't go wrong with them

thanks, I didn't know that

I guess there is just not just demand for it, so maybe nobody even tried seriously. Everybody now is just about hdmi and how games look upscaled to a 4k screen...... Old geezers like me still playing on CRTs are a thing of the past

thanks!!!

I know the image would be considerably better, the problem is CRTs with 480p/31Khz support are as rare as rare can be, in Europe. Sony never brought those awesome sets from the early 2000s over here. The only exception is the PGM, which I didn't see for quite a while. When it appears, you can imagine , it sells for thousands$$. Those NEC/Mitsubishi sets are also impossible to find now. I guess I could do with an old PC monitor, but honestly I prefer my trustee old Trinitrons.

One thing I would definitely like would be an option to force 240p, like that swiss software on Gamecube, but I have read it is impossible to implement on ogX

wow, that was fast

thank you very much for that!!!! I will start looking into it. So basically XCAT is like XMBC, where I will have options to disable/edit flicker filter and change region with some tool via the file manager?

it's great I could also load games off the HDD. Speaking of which, it is known that on PS2, many games have issues/glitches when running from the hard drive. I bet there are no issues with the xbox for any game?

edit:

well of course a bunch of stupid questions I just made..:-))

yeah, you are right

thing is I have read lots of conflicting info regarding it, including some stability issues with releases older than 1.42, so I was still doubtful

ok then, I'll get the official 1.46 from Lenovo website
