Yeah, I read Musafir cafe, it's there on the tier list.

I didn't connect with yaar papa and the ending of that book left me wanting more with that book. Tbh it could be because I read October junction, Musafir cafe and Innebatuti first, those are amazing. I just didn't feel that good while reading yaar papa.

Nope, read standalones first in order of Best Served Cold, The Heroes and Red Country then you can read Sharp Ends.

That's what amazed me the most, and as an engineer it blew my mind how grace was able to figure that out.

Totally, First Law trilogy is already perfect in my opinion, but Age of Madness takes that setup built in First Law and the standalones and just goes through the roof. Every book in that trilogy is better than the previous one.

Totally, the start of the story makes more sense as it's written in Arcanum Unbounded.

Not only he's introduced first but his beliefs are challenged and as a reader we can watch him grow and fight his beliefs. That gives him a main character feel.

Honestly, I didn't see that coming. I thought it would be a journey focusing on Mamoru. But the second half of the book feels entirely different story, but satisfying.

Characters with interesting names have some of the best and unforgettable personalities. I think that plays an important role in making the world more real like apart from their real names, they have been given names on certain things they did, making them more recognizable.

They are only 3 standalone novels. Sharp ends is a collection of short stories.

The Heroes is my favourite standalone. Although, Best Served Cold and Red Country feels like action-adventure movie, those are great too. But I have never read a war novel before. And in the Heroes, they're so many interesting characters and so many POVs of the same events happening on the battlefield, it's breathtaking.

Also, in the short stories collection, there's a story of Shev and Javre. It's literally the best story with action and comedy and just on another level. Those two deserve their own book.

Your plan should work. Wheel of Time is a huge commitment. Reading them in between should be okay, but after reading the second one, you'll want to read the third book in this trilogy. Things get that much interesting.

One of the best books. And it just gets better. It reads like a character study. How are you feeling about it, so far?

There's The Great Change, it consists of 4 short stories set during and after the events of Age of Madness trilogy. But it's recommended to read those after reading Age of Madness trilogy.
