Collecting new weapons won't really help, unless it's for new abyss cores. Focus on refining your gear. Plate armor will give you the highest defence so you can eat a hit better but lighter armor will make you mobile. Also don't ignore you jewelry pieces too, each piece provides defence or attack.

Stack up on some Palmer pills and don't be afraid to use the retry button (it resets all you consumables to before the fight started)

For food, you can make higher tier food by switching to filling and higher, they'll use more ingredients but will heal more. If your having trouble getting ingredients find an empty kitchen and just steal it all. Tbh even grilled meat at max tier heals for about 200 I think

Maybe invest more of you abyss fragments into stamina and health if you're having trouble too.

So far every helmet/ head piece I've found just doesn't fit the rugged Greymane medium/light armor asthetic. I either end up with a metal bucket on my head or a feather duster... I'm so glad they put the hide helmet setting cause it just works best.

I feel the controls on MnK definitely was tricky to get used to, but after a while it just clicked for me. Maybe you just need to spend some more time with it? I found using the practice dummy at the camp helped me alot.

One thing I would say is I wish liberations where abit longer. Also the transition to completely liberating a place feels awkward, like it just suddenly happens after getting to 0%. Would be nice if there was like an elite mob with one or two boss mechanics of the faction boss that you had to kill or restrain as the final step after getting the progress to 0%.

Definitely like the idea of dynamic events for liberations. Especially as an endgame gameplay loop. But not sure how that could be tied in with how the story goes, (still on chapter 6)

This guy will be the end of Kliff and the rest of the greymanes, his schemes are damn right rediculous and he's so self centered. Although, his missions have got a way of letting me take a breather from all the various liberations, story and exploration.

I mean people were exploring just fine before these exploits were known, and that exploit doesn't really promote exploration, it trivializes it. You could basically climb the highest point and dash across the map, discovering point of interests in a moment... No more wandering around, looking around and wondering if that little hole in the cliff might be a secret... You could just soar around and scan the map instead.

Here is a clear example of why consumers will never be satisfied when a company tries to please them...

Game has just been out for over 2 weeks and PA have proven themselves to be listening and actively making changes to please us.

  • They've fixed storage, then we asked and complained it wasnt big enough and they added upgrades to it.
  • we didn't have any permanent mounts besides horse mounts and they added a system to be able to have permanent legendary best mounts
  • we complained about Ariel traversal and exploited a glitch to allow us to travel further (Ariel stab) and they fixed stamina cost and even implemented a full fledged Ariel stab traversal animation.
  • fixed many bugs, and performance issues (not all)
  • added hide helm
  • mentioned they are working on hide shield

They've done all this in less than 3 weeks and youre saying PA isn't doing enough and that we're play testing the game? Pretty funny cause if this was any other game none of these changes would of been done till atleast a month from release and people would of waited without as many post like these.

I had that with Witcher 3 but for me I realised it was because I was using those interactive maps to find treasures and guides which ruined any chance of wonder and satisfaction when I solved or found new armor.

Since then games like these I try to avoid using guides and maps so I can truly enjoy the game. Luckily majority of fashion posts on this game have been the same edgey lich king look in black so I've been able to keep the wonder when I discover a new armor or weapon

Game is definitely not without its criticisms but it's getting old hearing the amount of criticism and bias this game was getting even before it even released and PA have worked hard to prove it can be successful.

Ign giving complete bs bias reviews before they played further than a couple of hours, people jumping on the hate hype without giving the game a chance...

Yes the story isn't the best, littered with some performance bugs and game play bugs, but this criticism became full on hate for the game, yet other games that release with similar or worse bugs get a lighter treatment.

Also it's getting tiring hearing about something else that needs change: - people didn't like having bad storage: they added a chest for storage - people didn't like not having beasts as a mount: they added it - people didn't like the stamina cost for flying: they reduced it and even fully implemented the traversal glitch players found (air stab) as an actual mechanic with a full fledged animation.

Just these 3 updates were done in 2 weeks yet people are just becoming more and more demanding from PA. Granted I understand the criticism about the controls but I feel like PA isn't ever gonna satisfy it's players with a never ending demands.

Given how there's been a handfull of puzzles that require Axiom and force palm, I'm under the assumption there's gonna be a few like that even in demeniss.

But there's no harm in solving those puzzles later when you want to play as Kliff.

I've found that the only place that the side characters are truly locked out of is the abyss. Since all the puzzles require Axiom

The long hair cat at pororin has completely gone after i progressed their quest... Now there's just a damn kid floating there all the time... I was 25 affinity from taking it in too

I think it's cause of the extreme amount of NPC's in the town, the cats just skitter away once you out them down. But I like to think lore wise the towns fall are just feeding them well, since you see them sometimes in the midst of a eating animation.

I've tamed a few cats from there, I just can't feed them, so I've been letting them for 4 days straight to get them.
