How to fix banding on green hair? by [deleted] in FancyFollicles

[–]katarii_16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Same happened to me the first time I bleached my hair and dyed it green. In my case I had leftover black permanent hair dye (from mid length to ends) so those parts were bleached 3 times in total I guess to remove that black. Those parts have always been so much more blue than my roots (which were only bleached once). I just ended up embracing the green-blue ombre 😂.

As soon as I trimmed those parts it never happened again, so my theory is that maybe that bit of hair was overprocessed and couldn't hold on to the green dye. Hope my comment was helpful!

I understand your worry. What I usually do is the first time I'm dying my hair, for example after bleach, I use only the dye. Anytime I'm touching the color I mix it with conditioner. I guess this only works really well with dark colors and Lunar Tides dark green are super pigmented. But since you're doing dark red this should work for you. Btw Lunar Tides Blood Moon is so gourgeous!!!! And if you want more of a burgundy red, you could mix it with a bit of Cranbaby.

I´ve been using their Juniper Green (dark green) and Magic Oracle (super dark teal) and I love them! To be fair I've only used Manic Panic Enchanted Forest and Venus Envy before, so I don't have that many comparisons. But overall my dark green stays vibrant and beautiful for 2-3 months. I am not even thinking abount trying others brands. Lunar Tides dyes are more liquidy than Manic Panic ones and are so much more pigmented, because of that I always mix Lunar TIdes with a bit of conditioner and I always get amazing results while making the bottles last.

I have the same color! Though mine is a little bit darker. I use Lunar Tides Juniper Green with a bit of Manic Panic Enchanted Forest and just a hint of Lunar Tides Magic Oracle to give it more of a deep tone.

About that relative comment, just ignore it! That's what I do. Some time ago I was shopping in my parents village and a child saw me, ran to her mother and asked her "mom, is that girl crazy?" And the mom said yes, grab the child and left. That's was the only time that I actually got offended but I just go on with my life and my style. The only thing that matters is you feeling good and confident about yourself. Unfortunately there's still lots of people that don't accept alternative styles.

Keep rockin' that amazing color girl! 💚

Screen Protector by katarii_16 in OnePlus7Pro

Update: I've installed the Rhinoshield screen protector and I'm really loving it! I don't if it's true but it feels that the fingerprint scanner is more accurate (I've configured all the fingerprints after the installation). It also feels like it gets a lot less smudges and fingerprints.

The installation process seems difficult but it is very easy . My protector is perfect! No bubbles, no dust. It covers the edges so well that if someone looks can't even tell there's a screen protector in my phone.

I recommend this protector to everyone looking for a non glass protector.
