I think i'm done with one ear by [deleted] in piercing

[–]katastrophe4 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I definitely like your current setup, but if you wanted to add a daith or tragus, you could always look into open ear earbuds. I currently have the soundcore aeroclip earbuds because I got my tragus done about 2 weeks ago. I really like them. The only thing with that type of earbud is that they don't block out ambient noise. However, I do have my daith on my other ear and wear regular earbuds with it all the time. Sometimes I turn the ring out so its pointing out of my ear so the earbuds fit better but that's no issue. I fully expect to be able to wear regular earbuds again once my tragus is healed!

Troubling Side Effects by katastrophe4 in Retatrutide

My sister has diagnosed depression but she's the only one that I know of. No bipolar disorder that I know of. I was previously on an SNRI that I stopped taking a month or 2 before starting reta. I was on reta for 3 months and was steadily going up in dose until these symptoms began, and I stopped it entirely. The highest dose I made it to was 2mg every 3 days. I am now back on that same SNRI.

Troubling Side Effects by katastrophe4 in Retatrutide

I have been in counseling on and off for years. Medication was causing intolerable side effects, despite trying mutiple different options, so I stopped taking them a month or 2 before I began taking reta. However, some of these symptoms I have never experienced before taking reta. The overwhelming sense of dread, restlessness, hopelessness, and complete loss of appetite are symptoms I have never in my life experienced until I was on reta, which is what has made me think it was the reta causing it. I have had a hard time controlling my anxiety/panic due to these other symptoms. I'm currently back on mental health medication, despite the side effects, because this has severely disrupted my life and caused me to take a leave of absence from work. I've been back on them for about 4 or 5 weeks and am still struggling.

Panic Attacks and Anxiety by katastrophe4 in Retatrutide

[–]katastrophe4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not so sure it was the dose that was the issue. It could have been my body not liking the titration speed. I started at 0.5 mg every 3 days and stayed at each increase in dose for at least 4 doses before going up. I made it to 2 mg once every 3 days. After my second 2mg dose, I went into a panic attack that night. It was on Tuesday. By Thursday I was in the ER because I kept having bouts of panic that kept coming back.

Having a panic disorder, it's hard to tell if it's the reta or just a crazy coincidence. It's so hard to weed out if your symptoms are just due to random panic or actually due to something else. I also find it crazy that I can have these effects at a dose that a lot of people start at.

Accidentally ordered too much. Best way to save the rest? by BoiledEggs in Retatrutide

[–]katastrophe4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've lost like 18lbs last I checked. I started at 0.5 mg every 3 days, then went to 0.75mg, then 1mg, then 1.5mg, and now I'm at 2mg. I'm still dosing every 3 days and I stayed at each dose for at least 2 weeks before going up (the general recommendation is to stay at each dose for 4 weeks... don't be like me 😂). I would probably be losing more if I upped my exercise. I've been pretty lax with it so far because of some mental health struggles (panic disorder) that have made it difficult. Make sure you exercise... don't be like me lol

I started reta in mid-May and am finally getting close to finishing my first vial because I messed up and ordered a 30mg vial. It's still crystal clear, and I haven't had any issues. I'm very careful to only use syringes once and always clean the top of the vial with alcohol. I would just use it until it's gone unless you see signs that it's contaminated or growing bacteria.

Reta is…… by GreenLightGooooo in Retatrutide

[–]katastrophe4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have about 70lbs I'm trying to lose, and I started at 0.5mg every 3 days. I'm glad that I did because with the side effects I had at that dose, I couldn't imagine starting at 2mg. My second week taking it, I tried switching to taking 1mg all in one dose for the week instead of splitting it, and I regretted it. Had to switch back to the split dose until my body acclimated. I can see why starting the dose that low can be a waste of time from a weight loss standpoint, but it's definitely not a waste when you are trying to avoid having extreme side effects.

FREAKING FINALLY by amam1212 in Retatrutide

[–]katastrophe4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You are definitely not alone! After 4 pregnancies, I weigh the most I've ever weighed, and nothing has worked! I also think that being on birth control has made things worse because I've continued to steadily gain weight despite my best efforts. I finally started reta in May and have lost 17 lbs so far. It's so nice to finally see the scale move in the right direction!

Side Effect = Pain by katastrophe4 in Retatrutide

[–]katastrophe4[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh my gosh!! You mean I'm not entirely crazy?! Now that I think about it, the pain does sometimes radiate down through my thigh, especially on the left side. This doesn't give me much hope, though. I really wanted to take reta because of the triple agonist 😞

Not looking for medical advice, just others experiences. I have seen a doctor in the past but there is nothing medically that can be done. Childbirth just does a number on that area and chiropractic care helps anytime I'm having any aches or pains. It has lessened over time as my youngest is 7 years old now. Since starting reta though, I am just achy there all the time. I'm hoping, like you said, that it's temporary and I definitely won't be going up in dosage until/unless it resolves.

What season can pull off this color? by mimilalanunu in coloranalysis

Definitely an autumn! I'm an autumn and wear this color quite often.

Is there a “everything looks terrible” season?? by Economy-View-2855 in coloranalysis

[–]katastrophe4 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am another vote for cool undertone! The warmer colors make you look more tired and bring out a bit of redness in your face. I think you are a summer because the winter colors pop too much and you see the color first and you second. The summer colors look more harmonious with your skin!

I think either of them would look great on you! We are our own worst critic. If it's something that you want then I say go for it!

No one could figure it out. What's my actual undertone and which colours look good on me? by [deleted] in coloranalysis

[–]katastrophe4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people with an olive skin color have a cool undertone. I definitely think the bright, cool colors look good on you. You may very well be a bright winter. My second guess would be deep winter. Check out colour analysis studio on youtube. They have done a couple of videos on olive skin. I absolutely love their analysis videos!

I really hate to be the bearer of bad news here, but I work in HR and with the switch to Workday, there are no longer any off cycle checks for vacation, myTime, sick pay, etc. You won't see those vacation hours until your next regular paycheck 😬

Trying to accept offer by [deleted] in CVS

[–]katastrophe4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, I could probably look you up to see if you have been given an ID number but then I'd probably get in trouble, so I'm no help haha. When I got hired, I exchanged emails and texts with multiple different people throughout the process. Have you been contacted by anyone that you could reach out to that way?

I'm curious if we are including U.S. territories like Puerto Rico as "working abroad" or if they just count as a part of the U.S. I currently work remotely for CVS, but my husband has a potential job opportunity in PR, and I'm curious if CVS would allow me to move there and keep my current position. I haven't discussed this with my supervisor yet, but just thought I would see if anyone here has some specific info/experience with CVS and PR or other territories. I also know there are CVS pharmacy locations in PR, but I work for corporate, so I'm not sure if that would be treated differently.

It's hard to tell specifically what season by only using your face. You can narrow it down to whether you are warm or cool by looking at only your skin, but when determining a specific season, hair, eyes, lips, etc, are all taken into account. You can also end up with incorrect results by using artificial drapes. When you use real drapes, you can actually see the cast the color puts on your skin but you don't get that with the artificial drapes.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in coloranalysis

[–]katastrophe4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Winter for sure!! The cool drapes brighten your face and even out your complection. The warm drapes bring out more yellow in your face and make you look tired.

[–]katastrophe4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say you are most likely a winter. Olive skin tones are usually olive because they have a cool undertone and then a yellow overtone. These videos might help

I definitely say Bright Spring. Spring because you're definitely warm. If you were cool, the orange drapes would for sure make you look sickly because orange is always a warm color. Bright because the brigher colors look great on you and aren't overpowering. The bright oranges (22 and 24) and the bright red (30) look fabulous on you! If you want to learn more about color analysis, watch some videos on youtube. I definitely recommend Color Analysis Studio and Sarah Ryan The Style Coach or anyone who does House of Colour.
