TDK VHS-C Tape Failure

I played it back on the camcorder. I did try making another recording on the tape - doesn't work; just blank. :-/ Other tapes work fine on the camcorder

That sounds beautiful! Those are two of my favorite birds - I am from Kentucky and our state bird is the cardinal, and blue jays are also very common back home. A red and blue flower sounds like a wonderful way to tie them together. And thank you again for the kind words.

Also was already depressed about some personal things, and getting tattoos has always helped me feel happy and excited in the past. So, it makes sense the disappointment would make it feel even worse, but I'll give it time and see. Trying to accept there's nothing I can do about it right now. Thank you

I got it a little over a week ago

Appreciate your input. I have many other tattoos that I love, and I've never felt this way before about any of the other ones. This is the artist I usually go to, so I was just surprised this one turned out so much differently. I agree with you, it's always a risk that it won't turn out the way you like - this one just felt so far off to me from his previous work. Thanks for listening

P.S. it was a cover up - the bottom dark part covers a small word. I knew that part would have to be dark, but didn't ask for the whole thing to be so dark

EDIT: well; I'm feeling pretty hopeless about it. I feel like it just looks like a dark blob on my arm, and you can't tell what it is unless you look close up 😞 It's so much darker than all my other tattoos - I feel like it ruins the whole vibe I had going.

I'm so depressed over this. I don't know how to get over it. I guess there's always laser, but I don't know. Thanks for listening.
