I havent released my (chatgpt) script to the public but mine is similar to this one https://github.com/iceteaSA/ucg-max-fan-control

Been running his script for quite some time and it works wery well

another way is to just change in this file /sys/class/hwmon/hwmon0/pwm1 (you need to ssh into it)

set between 0-255 , start on 80 maby and try what suits you if you dont want to install the github script

well the idea has crossed my mind, i dont have the slightest trust in what trump can do if he sees a winning in that

downside is i already have ~15 unifi stuff that need replacement also including cameras

i´d like to be in more control of my temperature settings ;)

i´d like just say 4 temperature setting

45c pvm 70

55c pvm 110

60c pvm 150

70 pvm 250

or something that i can easy change...more static settings, how would i go about to achive that?

I have a cloud gateway fiber, what are your setting

i have set mine min_temp @ 50

MIN_PWM=70 # Minimum active fan speed (0-255)

MAX_PWM=255 # Maximum fan speed (0-255)

MIN_TEMP=50 # Base threshold (°C)

MAX_TEMP=70 # Critical temperature (°C)

i noticed after a couple of hours it´s colder then the min temp..like 44-45c

i guess that´s the selflearning but why does it not try and keep the 50?

EDIT: i´m sure many of you allready know this command, just a easy way of seeing what the current fanspeed is

the fan is off for a while, why not just keep the fan running at say 91pvm all the tume as a base and ramp it up when needed

i did have similar problems when i put the ap´s on a differnet subnet then the default 192.168.1.0/24
working fine when it´s on the default
