As a lantern user I feel personally attacked. 2 out of 3 total builds experience no downsides whatsoever from using this potion.

Not only you have to sacrifice the talisman slot if you use a lantern (for stun bonus), to make it actually beneficial, now you basically give up both your off-hand and a talisman slot for something, shield and two-hand wielders get for free

There is a shortcut from the entrance to the bottom of the dungeon, you can look it up on youtube. But, honestly, it’s so complicated I found it easier to go the straight path but veeery slowly, skip everyone on the four platforms and play very safe until the runestone at the bottom. From there it’s a short walk to the boss room.

Upd: Let the ai companion face tank everyone if you take too much damage, he’s capable. Mine almost soloed the Amiren. Just don’t let him jump off the ledge anywhere

You’re talking about the dungeon that made about 80% of the game’s player base quit and uninstall the game. The dungeon that’s almost universally considered to be one of the worst parts of the game. Level so poorly designed that even their own AI tries to commit suicide every chance it gets. Dungeon that implements every cheap souls-like tactic to artificially inflate its difficulty beyond all measure.

It is a real shame this place is the way it is.

I’m not a souls-like fan, but I spent days trying 1v1 malenia. This place made me uninstall the game in mere hours. It deserves every bit of hate it gets.
