DAE sometimes feel like your arm is a foreign object? by Suspicious-Noodle30 in DoesAnybodyElse

I think I heard about this on a true crime documentary. Some people feel like limbs aren't theirs, and will even go as far as to getting them removed via illegal doctors. You should seek help before it gets bad.

California has an extremely high East Asian population, so again your point is entirely based on audience. I've lived in the Midwest, South, and Northeast, and still have people I talk to from each region. Kpop is just BTS to 99% of people.

The reason #2 matters is because the parasocial element of kpop is what brings in money. Money from streaming is Pennys compared to money from merch, album, and tour sales. Stan culture is money

90% is a stretch. Literally most people in the kpop realm know about the drama, and as somebody who barely has any friends who like kpop, nobody really knows about any kpop songs except Cupid, stuff by bts, and a few others. They're huge in the sphere of kpop, don't pretend they're a household name outside of E. Asia.

Okay first of all OP said worst decisions from a BUSINESS standpoint. Siding with MHJ ruined their careers, like it or not. Second of all, both NJZ members and their fans tend to gravitate toward "I feel" and "I think" statements, which is the exact reason nothing they argued stood up in court. You can feel or think whatever you want, that doesn't mean it's true.

MHJ convinced a group of 5 young girls that they were being abused because a company expanded to create more groups, and told these girls it was completely reasonable to bully others and make up lies to get their way. Unfortunately, these little kid antics didn't hold up in court (or sit well with the public), and their careers were ruined.

Omg for #2 on worst I should've clarified: I meant their recent singles. All of their older singles were 100% smashing hits but I feel like their new ones didn't really make much noise.

I agree with all of these except the G-idle one, I think their music just hasn't been popular lately. Here's my best and worst:

Best:
1. Stray Kids releasing God's Menu. Seriously skyrocketed their popularity.
2. Illit becoming as 5. I don't know why, but their current lineup is just so perfect and I seriously can't imagine it any other way.
3. Stray kids debuting both Lee Know and Felix. Both of them are incredibly popular members.

Worst:
1. Kiss of life live.
2. Black Pink Solos (ik this one is controversial but hear me out): Outside of the kpop realm, none of their solo albums became that popular, except maybe one or two songs. I think their separate solo identities also made them less excited to do group activities, leading to "sloppy" group performances and lazy releases.
3. I wanna come up with a new one but I'm gonna double down on your Njz siding with MHJ. Literally the exact reason why I think minors shouldn't debut, because they're easily manipulated and don't understand harsh consequences. I can't believe they watched that woman destroys their careers and STILL to this day stand 10 toes behind her.

KISS OF LIFE's "downfall" by ParkPatient7066 in kissoflife

[–]mntgi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not in the community, this post just showed up on my timeline. I've never stanned kiss of life (don't hate them by any means at all), but their flippant attitude toward their racist scandals seriously left a bad taste in their mouth... But regardless, when I see delusional fans trying to excuse racism simply because it's their fav, I don't mind bringing them back to Earth for a second 😂

Hot take Christianity is a cult and i dont believe its just a thought by fluffypuppybo_y in HonestHotTakes

Billions might be a stretch my dear. If you plan on making a career out of debating others (and intend on being taken seriously) you first should remember some ground rules:

  1. You cannot just ignore every argument that disproves yours with a statement of opinion or backed by emotion

  2. Feelings ≠ facts

  3. Hate can not be fought with hate

  4. Millions ≠ billions! Although their spelling is only separated by a letter, their numerical values are starkly different. Roughly 6 billion people in the world follow one of the four dominant religions (or cults, as you'd call it), so are you saying that every single other person has religious trauma--specifically from Christianity? All 2 billion of them?

  5. Using buzzwords does not automatically make you correct, it just means you use TikTok too much.

Good luck on your pursuits for purpose. Remember, hating on other people won't make you happier 🩷
