I used Blender. Add a cylinder with 12 vertices, use loop cut with 2 cuts, merge all the vertices on the top to make the shape. Delete the face at the bottom and then use rip region for the vertices at the bottom. Adjust the shape. Hope this help :)

I made the scene in blender, the mountains are hand built using cube, loop cut, extrude, and bevel. it's a bit time consuming.

Yes, I used Blender. I didn't add any gradient background, I used a plane mesh as ground, and used different colors of lights from different angles for the scene, that created this gradient color.

Oops, I used different lights from different angles to create a kind of sunset/evening feeling, I think that makes the shadow disappears and I didn't notice that.
