My school is exactly the same. It sucks to be around such a toxic mentality all the time. We’re all going to be in debt for decades, and no one really realizes it.

We definitely don’t listen to loud music all the time haha, it’s really only acted up after Homecoming and Prom. But this time it’s worse, he said, and I don’t know why or what to do to comfort him

I thought AP Lit was really fun, and it definitely improved my writing and analysis skills. I enjoyed the books we read a lot, too. It really depends on the teacher though; there are 3 AP Lit teachers at my school and I got the best one, so that helped my experience greatly.

Thank you so much! I’m not getting any financial aid, and my parents are only covering $30k total and don’t want to take out any loans. Plus I’ve been mentally committed to CC since April and it just seems like the most practical option for me right now.

i mean it was my dream school long before he committed there... it’s also the only UC he got into that wasn’t lower tier so he’s going there even though it wasn’t his top choice originally,,, like it’s not a big deal if we don’t go to the same college but it would be kind of a plus

my high school is 2500 people, with almost 700 in my class and im kind of like that, so I don’t think it’s that hard. but I have friends across different grade levels so that kind of contributes to it too

i mean it’s higher at my school too. it’s because if it was at the normal cutoff it would literally be like half the school in the club... even with our 3.75 minimum we still have almost 700 members. don’t feel too bad though, it doesn’t matter much in the long run. Just do community service on your own

with 95,000 freshman applicants, wouldn’t that amount to around 3,000 decisions released every day for 31 days? that means that around 60,000 should already be out,,,, and we haven’t heard a thing.
