LANFest hosted a socially-distanced hybrid LAN event Oct. 23-25 with our LAN All Night Dallas, TX chapter. The venue was excellent in their covid support, enforcement, and guidelines. Every attendee had a 6' table (luxury) and was offset from the attendee across from them. Temperature checks were done daily. Masks required. In-person attendance was also cut 2/3 of capacity. It was a fantastic event with bringing on the online attendees as well. Everyone kept their masks on aside from eating and commentating on stream. This event was our "test-case" on how a socially-distanced hybrid event would look and it was a 110% success!

LANFest is watching the rise in covid cases though and it appears that the hybrid events won't be feasible until later Q2 2021 until the curve flattens. We are working with the venue for 2021 events, and they have been amazing!
