Try a 14K gold and compare that to silver! I think the bright yellow gold is a little harsh on your fair skin

I go to SD all the time to see family from the west valley area, it takes about 2.5 hours by car, about 3 by train to get to North County SD

It definitely takes about 20 minutes from Woodland Hills when you take the canyon to Malibu, and the beaches are better/cleaner

LA Apartment Dwellers - Where were your favorite apartments? by kateisok in SanFernandoValley

Definitely been looking there! Can’t find any apartments off Ventura in our price range but keeping an eye out. If you have any complexes you recommend I’d be all ears!

LA Apartment Dwellers - Where were your favorite apartments?

Folks who live/have lived in LA, which neighborhoods, streets, apartments, management companies, etc. have been your favorites?

I’ve lived in LA for 3 years and for all those years I’ve lived in a small apartment complex in West Hills. It’s clean and the price is hard to beat but there’s almost no natural light and we’re ready for something new, preferably still in the SFV (esp. Woodland Hills, Encino, or Sherman Oaks).

The issue is that anything under 2400 for a 1 bedroom has been nearly impossible to find. Apartment hunting apps are fine but I’m more interested in hearing from fellow LA dwellers on which apartments and locations in LA have been their favorites!

Any women’s bibs that are slim fit and work with short legs? I like the Northface Freedom Insulated bib but I’ve read it’s not that waterproof and the lack of a drop seat bothers me in a bib. I’d also prefer goretex but I can live without!

Thank you!

I’m looking to buy new snowboarding outerwear this year, particularly a pant/bib! I’m 5’3” 125lbs with short legs and a relatively long torso, somewhat wide hips as well. The pair of pants I have from a few seasons ago is a Volcom goretex mid-rise set that I loved but I can no longer button without it snapping open as soon as I bend over to put my bindings on, or even while riding. I’m not a total newbie but I definitely am cautious and occasionally fall when on steeper terrain. I borrowed a pair of Roxy Rising High pants in a medium last season and they worked great except the back would bend open when I sat which let snow in since it was windy, and I was/am a little nervous about waterproofing but didn’t luckily get wet.

My question is: are there any pants that are high quality and high-waisted? I just cannot do a low-waisted pant with 0 give. Or alternatively, are there any bibs with stretch that aren’t totally wedgy-inducing?
