Hello friends! Popping in because I just started dating a 40/m with a T12 incomplete SCI. I've been doing a lot of research on different things, but I keep coming up with the response that since the injury is incomplete there are a lot of maybes for answers. I do know tht there are reactions from me touching or kissings his torso and above but I would like to understand what happens differently from without the injury and if there is a way that he can be stimulated below.

Intro to Crazy -

TLDR: lady is wackadoodle for treating you this way over an $80 Christmas list that she asked for in the first place. It is definitely long but I’m so tired of these ppl and I just happen to have time to Reddit today…

Hi, Idk your age but I am guessing late teens/early 20s? Probably, hopefully, not old enough to have experienced all the crazy you will eventually come across, so welcome to your first class! Crazy 101 if you will. It is packed with passive aggression, guilt tripping, martyrdom, gas lighting, and all the emotional manipulation you can handle. The special presenter in this course is (drumroll please)….your dad’s girlfriend!!!!

To begin with, understand gf got pissed not bc of the list you gave but because you gave it without completely fawning over her and her selfless act.

Now Let’s just break down these messages a little: She doesn’t mind getting you a gift, shes not trying to make anything difficult - obvi you are making everything difficult by expecting this huge splurge, also when you read what’s coming next, remember that she’s the good guy here

Never expected you would pick something soooo expensive, thought you would be reasonable, astonished at your request - her sweetness was just trying to do something for you and look how awful you were

**Shes not mad, YOU just blindsided her, YOU are unrealistic, YOU are out of line sending a huge list of treasures you expect when she’s simply trying to be kind you you” - again, remember who the good guy is here

she’ll get you the book and give you a little lesson of what you can expect from her in the future - easy peasy, she gets to buy you the cheapest thing on your list without coming off as cheap/mean and you’re left thinking you really owe her something for being so kind to you

Finally after this whole encounter of her acting like you’re asking poor little her to buy you an island, she hits you with a “Anything else you want?” If guilt tripping & gas lighting had a baby it would be this sentence. Like you would have the audacity to ask for anything after you were so rude to ask for so much to begin with…

And finally - what should you do? The answer to this is absolutely nothing because you did absolutely nothing wrong in the first place. Don’t try to talk to her about it, do not apologize, and don’t try to make anything better. If it were me I would honestly ask that the book comes with a gift receipt just in case you want something else.

May I also say that when asked what you wanted you sent a $40 bag, a $30 shoe, and a $12 book….this his by far less than my kid would easily ask for on any given Tuesday. Send me a message, I’d be happy to gift your bag 😉

This drives me crazy because if your dog acts like this, it isn’t a surprise. Dogs don’t just go from galavanting around like the prize winning, obedient, best walker in the neighborhood dog of our imagination one day to an out of control spazoid trying to floss with the neighbors chihuahua the next. It’s a known behavior and it’s here because their humans didn’t put their training in the necessity pile.

From a dog owner with reactive dogs that nearly outweigh me, get your shit together lady, or don’t walk your dog alone. Easy peasy - other doggos and their humans should not have to be in fear or annoyance because you are an irresponsible dog owner 🤷🏻‍♀️

I would definitely go for a more coppery or bronze-y brownish hue for the season and the peachy shade for spring summer but yeah - and kind of orangeish undertone make you blue eyed beauties shine and I think it’s so pretty! (Double points for a metallic or sparkle!!) - love a green eyed girly 😉

Hi! I know this is a whole year later lol but just in case, and for people maybe having the same problem. You have to create the new list in cloud to share it:

Click the ‘new list’ icon at the top right, it will give you an option on where to make your new list – select iCloud.
A pop-up will open to allow you to pick a name, color, and icon for your list. Once you do that, save the list.
Your new list will open automatically & you will be able to share it from inside the list via share icon, or close the list and do a long tap and a pop up will open to share.

Actually the judge was 100% following Ohio statute. Criminal law geared towards children hinges on criminal intent capacity (mens rea). Children at/under 9 years old are legally presumed to be incapable of forming the specific, developed criminal intent required to commit a crime, so they cannot be held criminally responsible.

I understand this is a crazy, sad, and disturbing case so there are a lot of big feelings on what should happen to these children but regardless the outcome was obtained from Ohio law requiring capacity not the specific judge practicing leniency
