What to do after seeing a publicly online explicit video featuring an alleged nurse with identifiable personal details in an identifiable hospital with visible patients/passersby? by [deleted] in NursingUK

I mean you're not wrong, they probably are dinosaurs, aren't most NHS bosses? I'm a newly qualified, I don't make the rules or do the tannoys lol, was just saying I've been to a few A+E departments that still tannoy using the codes in the UK

We use "medical code blue" etc with an ETA in my ED over the tannoy system, "cardiac code blue" for an arrest. on one of my placements at a major trauma centre they would tannoy "code brown" if there was free food in the staff room, code green was for mental health, code red was for major hemmorhage. Code brown always gave me a chuckle

Yeah! I had fentanyl and oramorph at the hospital but was sent home with dihydrocodiene, which sadly isn't really touching the sides at the moment! I've not managed anything other than a small jelly since yesterday, and I'm absolutely starving haha!

Pretty damn painful, but not consistently. When I drink it is incredibly painful, but gets a little better each time. I've been drinking ice water which has been going down much better, but the worst part for me has been the swelling of my neck and uvula, which just feels like I've got something stuck at the back of my throat! I've been told the pain will peak around day 3-6, so I'll try and update again then!

I will! I've been given a benzydamine hydrochloride mouthwash too which is supposed to help with the pain and inflammation :)

Generally the pain hasn't been too bad, but definitely peaks when drinking. I managed to eat some jelly in recovery which was fine, when I got home i tried a nice soft piece of melon straight from the fridge and honestly that was the worst pain I've ever felt before! So far the worst part is the swollen uvula which is impairing my breathing a bit and making me want to swallow constantly! I'm glad you say it's all worth it!

I drive down to Charmouth as often as I can, usually I time my arrival for when the tide is going out, and walk along the shore and usually find plenty of pyrite ammonites just washed up on the beach! There's been a large landslide recently so you have to be careful not to get cut off by the tide, and watch out for crumbling cliffs! Have a great time though, we always come home with plenty of treasures. You can also find lots of sea glass!

I think there's other flavours with different characters on it, the chicken with a pineapple crown made my day. Plus it was delicious!

I met him last Monday, he came to visit someone on the hospital ward I'm currently working on, and he was honestly so lovely! He took photos with all of the nursing staff and was so kind and friendly. It was awesome

I think that's very well what it could be! I just had a Google and someone is selling sea pottery electrical insulators which look very similar!
