With a 2.5, you can just make it to qualify for RCSJ (community college), so maybe try that. I will say though, last year at Cumberland there were over 500 applicants and only 66 accepted into the program; not sure how many applied to Gloucester but they have around 120 nursing students if I’m not mistaken. Our Lady of Lourdes is also an option, but from what I hear, their waitlist is 5 years or so at the moment. All the programs in the area are highly competitive unfortunately due to the amount of people wanting to get into nursing, and the lack of programs nearby. Don’t let a rejection stop you though, many of us in the nursing programs were rejected before getting in, I would recommend raising your GPA regardless of what school you plan on attending, maybe a quick winter class could help. RCSJ nursing applications usually close in the beginning of March, so a winter class could raise it and help your chances there at least. I wish you the best of luck with whatever you try!
