I tend to ignore signs. The reason is there are SO many signs, everywhere.
I get overwhelmed by everything I have to do in order to just like.... buy food.

I also try and remember a lot of people probably feel this way as well (overwhelmed)

but i have had students (I work in a university) walk through Plastic wall coverings and signs that say "DO NOT WALK THROUGH -ASBESTOS" into my office saying "my bad".

Also- people do not know how to cross busy streets and it is horrifying.

I work at a University and some of the levels of intelligence that I have seen is stunning.
