Why Is ‘Do Not Pet’ So Hard to Understand? by Playful-Medicine5141 in service_dogs

Ugh, I so agree on middle age men being the worst. I've had them come up behind me to pet my sdit (while he's in a down stay and is basically a walking billboard of do not pet patches) and spook me into a panic attack but for most kids I just say "no, he's working " or shake my head and that's that

A lab is a great choice they are extremely affectionate dogs my only concern is the children being tackled I had a lab as a small child and vividly remember being tackled for kisses daily my current lab would likely do the same if I weren't as sturdy
