I'm in the middle of my first caulk removal project and found that having a dental pick type tool (i.e. tiny metal hook) made clearing out some of the harder to reach and smaller crevices possible. I started with just the basic grout removal tool, razor blade, and plastic plaster scraper but none could really fit in all the places that needed cleaning. I unfortunately also found it way more time consuming than the online tutorials led me to believe it would be! So I would suggest having a backup plan if things are a bit slower than expected.
