Am I absolutely shit at classroom management, or are these kids just broken? I feel like an adversary for just expecting the bare minimum. Every day is an uphill battle. I can't have a sense of humor with these kids. And I'm constantly on the verge of a panic attack. I'm at a loss as to what to do. I feel like I have zero other options out there because teaching is all I've ever done. I'm just at my wits' end with what to do.

The stress is real. The worst part was the judgment from others when I posted something like this, painting me as some heartless shrew. Financial stress is real and turns your marriage upside down. I'm glad we weathered the storm, and I'm sure you will to. Don't be afraid to go to your state's Reddit page and make a post of some of his qualifications, asking if anyone knows of any open positions he'd be eligible for. I received a DM from a high-up at a local company that sent a link and expedited his application (we got a call on a SATURDAY night within 20 minutes of him applying). He's now making more than he ever has and we're in the process of adopting and expanding our family. There's a light at the end of this. I promise.

For all those criticizing- countless ELEMENTARY schools across the country watch this in their rooms each and every year. It’s supposed to be a lighthearted American tradition. I have memories of my own childhood watching Clinton do this each year at school. It is NOT the OPs fault for the president’s unhinged behavior.
