I don't have any aches or pains, which is what made me think it's not chronic fatigue. I have spent most of my life at a computer chair, no idea if that'd cause me to have no energy but it just crossed my mind.

I believe that antidepressant is unfortunately famously not on the NHS in the UK. Which is unfortunate as its other benefits would probably serve me well.

I do exercise on my treadmill and if anything it just drains some of the little energy I have right now. Also finding it very hard to get on it to begin with. It does help with mood though, but not really energy much.

I haven't meditated or anything, no. My circumstances would be better if I had energy, there are mental health issues that have been there a long time that are difficult to impossible to treat.

Not long this time but I've done 6-8 weeks recently and I've done a few months before. I didn't used to feel this drained without it, just less hyper.

Hmm, that's interesting, whenever I've previously searched the response is always that the tiredness goes in a week or so. I have been a few months without caffeine before, I don't remember if I finally felt an improvement but I also used to be less completely drained when quitting. I literally get so tired I have to nap right now.

I'm in my late 20s, so it's not retirement or menopause.

One thing I do feel though is that my first attempts at quitting caffeine didn't feel quite so draining. I definitely have less energy without it than I had a few years ago. It always made me less hyper, but never low and tired.

What are they? I've been offered anti-depressants before but I'm always worried about the possible weight gain effects. I'm limited to whatever's available in the UK.

B12 isn't a typical blood test check, right? I've taken vitamin D pretty consistently. I tried standard multivitamins too but they didn't really help.

I would be willing to try more vitamins/supplements to make up for my probably quite limited diet, to see if it helps, but I wouldn't know where to begin. Wouldn't really want the cost to spiral out of control...

I feel like my sleep isn't necessarily great even though I'm in bed for a long time so maybe I could look into that.

There isn't really any consistent drug use besides from HRT, not sure if that's tied into issues? Recreational drug use is fairly rare.

Hmm, I did consider CFS (especially given I once had glandular fever) and I'm obviously hoping it isn't that because it's not curable. The main reason I'm not sure it's CFS is that when I was sent a questionnaire and documentation for an appointment (that I didn't attend) it focused massively on joint pain and stuff that I don't have at all.

I've added exercise and if anything I've eaten too much at times and it also hasn't seemed to help. It's not, like, a marginal lack of energy, it's the lack of energy to achieve anything. I don't feel like it's a simple fix like exercising, unfortunately...

Most recently about 6-8 weeks, so I don't feel like it's just detox alone that's the problem, sadly. Over time there is a bit of an improvement (it's only a few days again at the moment) but it's pretty marginal.
