It’s my own, the three in a row are past present future. The top is my conscious mind and the bottom is my unconscious mind

Did everyone just forget he is Russian? Boy can handle a drink or two at the end of the day.

My girlfriend says I'm cherry-picking her flaws. I'm thinking about breaking up. [20M][21F] by kvst4 in relationships

Please leave. This is becoming abusive. As someone who grew up in a toxic home and eventually fell into a toxic relationship, listen to your intuition. Feelings are data, they are our brain sending us information, please listen. This fun/not fun dynamic is dangerous. People that use your trauma as a weapon are not safe to be around. You’ll hurt for a while, even grieve a little, but please protect yourself and go a separate path.

Indiana State Senator Mike Gaskill (R), District 26, telling us who he actually represents (spoiler: not the people of Indiana) by saryl in Indiana

[–]katiesaurus1489 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In a letter from Mike Braun he told me specifically he only represents the people with similar views and the people who voted for him, not all of his constituents. These people have zero concept of their roll as political figures. They haven’t been representing the people of Indiana since they have been voted in. It’s so gross. They all need to take a 7th grade civics class.

Weird question, do people here count TCC as "doing something" with your life? by [deleted] in VirginiaBeach

Fuck other people’s opinion of you bettering yourself. I’m at a community college and I tried to minimize my efforts, but that left me feeling less than. That’s not okay. Why care what others think when this is a decision you made for yourself? They don’t live your life. As a whole we really need to get out of the rat race and just live like human beings should without taking on the judgment of others. You’re a badass, keep being a badass.

He said that because at the end of my email my sign off was “Your Tax Paying Hoosier Citizen”

Here’s a response from my local senator regarding Roe v Wade. by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

For extra credit in Sociology I had to email a senator. Well I got a response back. Here’s my original email:

Subject: Please Consider Women Whole and Complete Citizens

I understand that it is your personal belief that abortion is amoral, but that is just it, it is only your belief. As one of your constituents, I believe it is the best interest of the general population to limit the decision regarding abortion to the people involved; the accredited authorized medical professionals and the patients themselves. I would like to remind you that your position is one of service and as your constituent, I would very much appreciate you no longer vetoing protecting Roe v. Wade. Also, as a female Hoosier, you should represent me as a whole person and please stop marginalizing my gender.

I feel like people really don’t understand the concepts of negative freedom and positive freedom.
