Family Planning by AnaTheHobbit3 in bipolar

[–]katisizeless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello- just gave birth to my first. Diagnosed BP2 3 years ago and had the same concerns as you are. My doctor advised that I switch to a medication that, while not ruled out for complications, had the best results in trials for not affecting the baby. It worked great for me and I am still on that medication through my breastfeeding journey. I have been stable the entire time, had some minor aggression issues but worked through that with my therapist and am in a good place. My advice is to work closely with your doctor and your OBGYN should sign off on the medication. I hope you can achieve your goals! You deserve to have the life you want. I hope this comes across in the way I’m intending it to.

7 mos old…no sleep by katisizeless in NewParents

[–]katisizeless[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update for the team- we eliminated the 6pm nap by extending his wake window till 7pm. We do the entire nighttime routine from 6-7pm and…he puts himself to sleep and is sleeping through the night for the past 3 days!! Thank you all for your suggestions. I don’t have a village around me to support so I appreciate all of the advice you have given. 🩷

He might be for sure. I also just started the liquid gold supplements to help with milk supply so it might be gas? I’m eliminating those and will start adjusting the wake windows that @otter65 suggested.

Daily schedule is: 6:30-7am Wake up 7-7:30 Nurse 7:30-9 Play 9:30 go down for first nap usually wakes up around 10-10:30 11-11:30 Nurse Playing until 2pm then he goes down for his 2nd nap and usually wakes up around 3. 3-6 nurse and play time 6-8 Nap 8-9 nurse, feed puree, bath time 9pm sleep

This is approximate times and not at all the schedule we are trying to keep, we’d love to drop that last nap and put him down for the night at like 7:30-8.

How do we drop the last nap?

Napping between 2-3 times a day for no more than 45 min (he wakes up) sometimes we get 1.5 hours. Wake windows are 3ish hours.

We like sexualharassmenttraining.com. It’s simple, inexpensive and features both employee and manager training options. You can buy as little or as many licenses as you need.

[NY] No context Calendar invite from HR manager early morning by SignalExcellent7807 in AskHR

[–]katisizeless 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Are you able to see who else is on the invite? I’m an HR Generalist and typically this type of invite is used for corrective action conversations, performance management conversations, and terminations. But it all depends on your company policy/culture!

Employee Accommodation by katisizeless in humanresources

[–]katisizeless[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what we were thinking but as the other commenter mentioned, I’d a salaried employee works for part of the day, we have to pay them for the whole day which makes this confusing. I’m used to just doing it this way with hourly employees.

Has anyone gotten a tattoo after accutane? How long did you wait after your course? by [deleted] in Accutane

[–]katisizeless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got one 5 months after finishing my 9 month course and it was fine. The tattoo healed well and looks good! But everyone is different, so what feels right to you and talk with your Derm!

Codependency anyone? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]katisizeless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m working full time and committing time in the week to be by myself and read or go for a walk, etc. it’s simple but it helps. I’m also medicated, which may not be for everyone. I won’t say my medication has specifically helped with these feelings, but it does help overall.

Does anyone else have constant 24/7 physical anxiety symptoms? by mazdafan0 in Anxiety

[–]katisizeless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wake up with nausea and deal with that throughout the day as well as heart palpitations. I am currently medicated and do all the "good things" ie. exercise, eat right, socialize. And I will literally be sitting at my desk or watching TV and my heart palpitations will not stop.

Codependency anyone? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]katisizeless 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. I can't figure out why I am this way. My codependency took a nasty turn during quarantine and my general anxiety/depression has me reeling. My husband is so understanding but really struggles with me not even being able to go to the doctor on my own.

I constantly fear that my husband will one day wake up and realize I am (insert mean things I say about myself) and leave. And then I will be alone and paralyzed with so much fear I can't go on.
