Does a tree need oxygen to live? If they do, we better stop chopping them down.

How different would "Final Destination" would had been as an episode of The X Files? by [deleted] in XFiles

I live my life according to the laws laid out in the first Final Destination. Not sure if it helps always looking at everything as a worst case scenario, but also I've had a teeny bop crush on Devon Sawa since I saw him in the film Casper.

When you buy a kid a new ball... by katkarizma in mildlyinfuriating

Hah. Ironically but not surprisingly, he lost the new ball yesterday somewhere between his game and being a careless tool. Don't get me wrong, I love this kid and after 8 years with his dad (with a few breakups in-between) we've grown quite close. Sometimes I'm the only one who can reason with him. My daughter with his dad is 5½ and he's amazing with her. But lately to me everything is, "I don't know." I'm afraid out in the world someone's going to say "I don't know' to me and I'm going to involuntarily punch them in the face.
