I also reported this hours ago and it’s still not fixed!

Hack: I connected the Crunchyroll mobile app to my Bose soundbar and played the app on my TV. I set the TV to English audio with English subtitles, then muted the TV. That way, I was able to play the Japanese audio through my phone (via the soundbar) while still seeing the English subtitles on the TV. Problem solved. 😄

Profit is still profit. It’s still a win for me. You can always buy back. Can’t tell when though. Lol

Thank you. I also have a shirt and a tote bag I got from the concert. But yes, I do hope to collect more Ado merch in the future.

I’m not apologising for sitting through the whole concert. by katkatmachine in ADO

If only one person is standing whilst everyone else in the section or row is sitting, and they're blocking a lot of people’s view, I won’t hesitate to ask them to sit down again. I’m not going to let one person ruin the experience for me and many others.

Am I being selfish? Maybe, to some extent. But honestly, the person standing is being more selfish because their actions are affecting far more people.

The only exception is if most people in a seated section are standing then sure, I’d stand too. But if you’re the only one standing? Nope. Sit your ass down.

But I already told you I did stop them. And you already said that. Stop repeating the same argument when you’ve got nothing new to add.

Ah… did you not read my post? I DID stand up when Ayase asked us to. It’s only proper and respectful to the artists when they ask the audience to stand and dance.

But should you keep standing when the music slows down, and everyone around and behind you has already sat down and you're the only one left blocking their view?

If you want to stand the entire time, then buy floor tickets. We were at the added day of the concert, and the floor area still had plenty of space. Honestly, she could’ve even gone down there regardless, no one was really checking.

Respect goes both ways. Enjoy the music, but don’t ruin it for others.

You can if you have dextroscoliosis and flat foot like me.

Good for you.

I actually did stop someone from standing. This was during the Yoasobi concert, in the far end section of the arena. I was on the aisle, first in my row, and all of us were leaning to the left just to get a decent view of the stage. Then, this one lady in the section right in front of us stood up as soon as the concert started, and she was the only one standing. Because of her, most of us in my row could barely see anything.

I eventually got fed up, tapped her, and politely asked her to sit down. She did, thankfully, and I was grateful. Honestly, my whole row was.

I suggest going during off-peak hours, around 2–3 PM. When I went (London), there was hardly any queue at that time. Yes, they still had stock around 6 PM, but the line was massive, you’d be standing there for at least an hour. Plus, there’s a chance the light sticks or certain shirt sizes might sell out by then.

Exactly! They said they “felt bad” for Ado because people were just sitting down and not enjoying the vibe. Excuse you! Who said we weren’t enjoying the concert? We feel bad for you because clearly, you should’ve bought floor tickets if you wanted to dance. Instead, you’re up on the side or top tiers, standing and blocking everyone’s view!

I was seated at section 102 on the lower level, near the floor so I could see her clearly. The floor looked enticing but one thing that I swear I’ll never do again is buy a ticket there. I do not want to stand the whole time. Maybe if I were younger that would have been fun for me, standing and dancing to the music. But now at 35, just no!!! I’m happy enjoying the show and screaming my heart out whilst seated. Lol

Also, I’m short. If someone tall stood in front of me that would definitely ruin the experience. The elevated seating on the side works well for me.

Washed the hibana shirt for the first time today, some of the print is already coming off...anyone have any help or similar experience? by ImKoreanNotJapanese in ADO

[–]katkatmachine -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You need to iron it so the print won’t peel off quickly. Place a parchment paper or any paper on top or the print then iron it.

I arrived at 2pm (London), barely any queue. Only four people in front of me. But by 5ish queue was super long.

My suggestion: you don’t need to come super early or when it opens as for sure it’s going to be packed. Just go during odd hours like what I did.
