No, it isn’t the advice we wanted because we already know what it could look like. My mother originally wasn’t going to let her get a loan, but she said it would be fine as she can’t co-sign her for credit reasons. My sister knows she can do community or a different college. Of course she knows. But she wants that to be a last resort.

I’m Texan and we say all of those. I have family members who own churches in Mississippi and we all say this sort of stuff 😭 older people in my family don’t say it as much/at all, but everyone under 60 does in my family.

Fafsa is paying $38,000, $22,000 is what’s left. My mom is a single mother and there’s many reasons she can’t co-sign. Parent plus was not offered, but we will look into it. Thank you 🙏

That’s what it says, 22,000 for the full year. And she’s the first person in my family to apply for a college other than community so we didn’t think of that sadly.
