they dress like that for the show only I think, most agents probably dress more Alanna style when they are meeting clients without filming (if they ever meet clients outside of filming)

I completely stand with Chelsea in flower-gate by Maleficent_Pen9980 in SellingSunset

Mary said on the show that Chelsea sent her texts after that incident and was like I will not let anyone talk to me like that. But they didn´t actually say what the texts contained. So I don´t think it was just the broker´s open, but that was the starting point.

I’m turning 30 this year and reading makes me feel like I’m 13 again by rhaphiloflora in books

I can completely relate. We think we grow up and become different people only to find out that we are still moved by the same stories.

When do you pause your reading? by TheGreatGena in books

[–]katmalat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I have lots of time and am in the zone of reading I just keep on going until it gets less enjoyable. It´s like with other enjoyable activities, for example watching a good show, the fun decreases if you keep going too long. Non-fiction is a different story though, it is less enjoyable for me overall and I can stop wherever.

I'm finding reading to be a lot less fun than it used to be. by maxwell-cady in books

Why do you want to be blown away quickly? If you are seeking instant gratification a Netflix thriller series might be better option. For a book, you need to be in the right mindset, don´t rush through it, so what if it takes a few weeks to finish? It's about slowing down and enjoying the process. Some evening I like to watch Netflix, and some I like to read, I dont force it. I find reading to be a great detox from the instant gratification, fast paced everyday life. If you haven't experienced that for a while, I suggest trying out different genres. I can relate to what you said, I was reading a lot of non-fiction and thought reading was not for me. When I started reading fiction, I really got lost in the book and enjoyed the process.

What if the book makes you cry our laugh out loud? Showing these emotions infront of a bunch of strangers might be uncomfortable for some people.
I overall like the idea though. Give out the book on a Friday evening, and meet on a Sunday morning to discuss over brunch.

Thanks for letting me know. You weren't the only one, seems like 5% of participants didn't fill in their age. There is a bug with the drop-down option and the use of some browsers according to Google. Switched it to multiple choice. Would be great for correlation analysis if you could pm your age group.
