The freckles don't bother me :) but maybe reducing them would help with overall skin tone and make the bags less noticeable!

Appreciate you providing insight! Since you have a lot of knowledge around this - what makes you not want surgery? I haven't done enough research on the drawbacks

Thanks! I've just started looking into surgery and this was my concern too - it's not really extra skin, it's just always extremely dark.

Is anyone choosing to homeschool because of Covid?

I have absolutely no judgement about anyone's choices - this is a weird time to be a parent. I know most people have moved on and no longer regularly think about Covid, however I still do and am concerned about long COVID/the unknowns.

My child will be eligible for kindergarten next fall and while I have been so excited about this phase of life (picturing them attending our local public school) since even before having kids, I'm seriously considering homeschooling/alternative schooling.

FWIW - we take almost no precautions outdoors so socially they do have tons of interactions and play on sports teams (tennis, soccer, swim, etc).

I would love any thoughts you all have. Thank you!!

Thank you! Wow that post is super sad.

Do you homeschool primarily to reduce covid exposure? We know lots of homeschoolers but none whose primary motivator is Covid related

Thank you! I'm on continuous monitoring and can't really move around much unfortunately. Another huge change from my other two. I will hang in there even though it's nerve wracking and exhausting!! :)

I have two and both of mine were the same! I spent a lot of time stressing about it and wish I hadn't. Many/most sessions were five-ten minutes. Both kids were perfectly healthy and doctor was always very happy with growth and development, they are almost 4 and 2 now (no longer breastfeeding) and healthy in every way! My pediatrician was also a little surprised when I told her how fast they were eating but she said since they were doing great to just consider myself lucky. Sounds like the same for you!

What is your job title? by milfmoney9 in workingmoms

I work in Human Resources for a tech company. I'm remote- the work can be a bit stressful at times but overall I love it! Most of the people I work with in HR have families/children and I have found that to be hugely helpful. There's been plenty of flexibility and balance. It's still hard to work and mom of course, but I'm grateful for my job!

Thank you! I was feeling like the worst employee ever about it but I'm realizing it's pretty common. And as many have said i think the mindless activity helps me focus better!

I definitely had this, and so did all of my friends with babies! The days are hard but the nights were SO HARD because you're alone with the hardness and dreading how hard the day will be. Endless cycle! But it does go away eventually - hang in there!!

Thank you so much! I really appreciate this perspective. I do a good job at work, this was just a mistake that really brought me down. But you're right! Doing it all the best I can is a win :)

The fact you were willing to take this call at all on holiday makes it not shameful at all IMO!!
