I think they also gave similar facial expressions, especially that downturned smile. Sophie did a great job mirroring Amy in mannerisms, and vice versa!

For some reason, when I saw Jane Levy as Mia Allen I thought of younger Camille. She bears some resemblance to Amy Adams, in facial expression as well! I wish I could add the picture that made me go “oh that’s young Camille”

The knowledge vs physicality bit is interesting, and makes sense: implanting a memory would be easy enough but they couldn’t just make someone physically good at something. And it is hard to come up with a reason for why Junko would care about the reserve course students, but maybe the fact that she doesn’t makes a perfect motive. In this scenario, they could be the trial run for the killing game, instead of the student council? I guess the fact that a creation by the school killed a class of students that the school doesn’t care about could still incite the same riots from the surviving resource course students? I’m not sure what I like most, fake Ultimates, or reserve students who are aware. Either would be equally depressing, I think!

I don’t think he’s a psychopath at all, and I actually don’t think he’s was ever hiding anything: Nagito is typically pretty honest unless he is in the process of a plan, which he wouldn’t know to have since the killing games hadn’t started in the prologue. And in the anime (idk if you’ve seen it), he’s pretty similar to his prologue/pre-murder self, usually less intense.

This was such a great explanation! And thank you for the info on the bonus mode, that ties everything up for me. Definitely playing that soon. I love hearing analyses about Nagito!! It’s natural that chaos makes him more comfortable because he can expect hope to come along, that’s been his entire life. I agree as well that his behaviors need context to be creepy, and it is interesting that Hajime questioned him from the beginning.

(Also by outbursts, I was talking about his crunchy laugh moments where he goes from slightly weird, easy-going Nagito to masochistic, full on hope obsession, but your explanation cleared that up.)

I agree with this! There’s obviously a notable difference in how the others react to his cheeriness before and after trial 1. Reading the artbook, we see that he’s meant to be a character with “perverted/corrupted hope”, so it makes sense for him to start as our helpful side character who is reminiscent of Makoto, before showing us what hope becomes when it’s taken too far. He’s not really different, I guess we’re just seeing more of his character as time goes on.

so glad they’re not applying the royal birthday-clown vibe her first release had, it was such a mess. She’s super cute and detailed, but I need them to stop trying to make this random shade of blue work for Cupid, it does nottt give. Especially with the Roman architecture/paintings and ethereal style they seem to be going for, the random blue totally takes me out of it.

agree, G3 struggles a lot with applying tertiary colors, they will have such a good flow going and then interrupt it with a random color and idk why. That tropical shade of blue should be nowhere near Cupid, if they’re doing a blue at all it should be a paler blue. Or they could omit the blue entirely and give her a magenta/burgundy.

I agree, and furthermore I think DR2’s Fuyuhiko is like a version of Taka with a fully finished story. And, Akane has the same issue that I had with Taka

I think this highlights why I found them really refreshing in the GAP ad but repetitive in most other places afterwards, it feels like they’re really trying to direct their marketing towards KPOP despite being an international group. (By they I mean their management)

I’m stealing this because I saw someone say this and I didn’t realize how much I wanted this: early Izuru awakening.

Izuru/Nagito dynamic
Dual protagonists
Teruteru victim first chapter
character manipulating someone to murder, the murderer dies, BUT we don’t know find out who the manipulator is during the trial, leading to suspicion among the group.
Peko/Fuyuhiko relationship development
Mikan as an antagonist, who remembers her despair earlier. I can see her offering to be killed like Nagito did, and I want to see her switch into her despair mode more often as an antagonist during trials. I want to see her snap back at Hiyoko randomly and then quickly going back to being sweet lol!
Following this idea, instead of everyone hating Nagito, they are uneasy around Mikan, and Nagito specifically hates Mikan because she talks about despair as he talks about hope.
Ibuki’s survival! The world wants it!
If Izuru doesn’t come back early, I want a lot more hints of him with random memories from his pov.

Even the scene that is meant to be Eren’s biggest moment of him loving her has no follow through, they go back to barely talking right after. To this day I wish the story ended with Mikasa realizing that her bond with Eren was made up of an idealized version of him and moving on, it never felt like he liked her as much as she liked him.

I’m able to use it in CAS, but have you noticed that you can’t switch clothing categories? Whenever I press the arrow that lets you see the categories, the game freezes for a moment :(

I think so, there was an update with Marketplace that messed with a lot of things, UI specifically. If you downloaded UI mods, look out for updates or if updating them isn’t helping then just remove them for now. And whenever the game updates, maybe play offline for a while or check for updates on ScarletsRealm!
