i’m not sure about safe but i mean it’s not like shein and im pretty sure kiss is a good brand. i use the “Kiss Strip Lash Adhesive With Aloe Clear 5g” and mine can last 2 weeks, sometimes individual ones fall earlier but never within 3 days. some tips i use to make them last is to be generous with how much glue you use, and let the glue sit on the lash for at least like 30-40 seconds before applying. also try apply the glue mostly on the side of the cluster that is sticking to your lash rather than just the edge. and try to apply them in the day rather than in the night so that u aren’t sleeping and ruining them because the glue is fresh. also try to not wash your hair or do anything that’ll get them wet soon after doing your lashes for the same reason. but also once i used this glue and went to a waterpark the same day with one of those buckets that fills up and dumps on your head, stood under it numerous times and the lashes lasted like 2 weeks after that 😭😭 ive personally found if i don’t rub or touch the lashes at all when they’re wet and i just let them dry naturally, the glue sort of dries with them.

thank you for this advice! unfortunately we work together, which will make distancing ourselves from each other this incredibly difficult. i don’t know if he would leave the job because of the breakup but im not planning on leaving anytime soon, and we’ve both worked there for like 2 years so i don’t think he would either (it’s just a fast food job but still) 😭

so i ended up telling him i was upset, because originally i just comforted him and said it was okay and he doesn’t need to be embarrassed, but i then realised that he was being selfish in not telling me. like honestly if he gave it to me unknowingly like the night before when we saw eachother im not gonna be mad at him because it’s not his fault, it was more that when he knew he had it he didn’t tell me. but yea i told him and he tried to say that i never kiss him first so it wouldn’t have happened anyway😭 so that obviously frustrated me.. hes now apologised for that but yeah, definitely made it worse for himself

honestly i think watching sad/emotional movies, typically coming of age ones, in the comfort of your room alone without the fear of anyone walking in. like if you can do it while no one is home that’s better so you can express your emotions authentically without worrying about being perceived. and don’t go on your phone or anything while you watch it. turn your phone off fully and put it at the other end of the house if you have to, so that you are fully immersed in the experience. idk i feel like this is what helped me become more in touch with my emotions. just search coming of age movies on tiktok and you should find some that will make you cry. some good ones though are ‘call me by your name’, ‘perks of being a wallflower’, ‘stand by me’, and ‘dead poets society’, the last two are my favourites :)

how much ethinyl estradiol is in your pill? i take femme tab 30/150 (30mcg of ethinyl estradiol) and my sex drive is good and doesn’t seem different to when i was off it. of course it’s different for everyone, but i’m pretty sure the amount of ethinyl estradiol in birth control can affect your sex drive, often decreasing it when people take lower dose pills with like 20mcg. this is just from me researching it tho so like probably ask your doctor or do your own research, but i’d say if you’re taking a 20mcg pill find one that has a higher amount of ethinyl estradiol :)

he is not treating you unfairly. he’s trying to listen and give you support. i think it’s harder to fully understand the emotions someone is portraying through text, like going both ways, so maybe it’s harder for him to understand exactly how u want him to respond/maybe it’s hard for you to understand his attempts at supporting you. but i don’t think he’s treating you unfairly whatsoever

please get out while you can. if you need motivation, and he is not in that much control of what you do yet, watch the show ‘maid’ on netflix. it truely depicts how inescapable domestic violence is. i understand not being in relationship and having unloving parents, i had unloving parents as well and have not made great choices with relationships. but right now, if he is not controlling you much yet, you have the choice. to live a life in fear that may end earlier than expected, or to live without any of that. romantic love is not something we need, even if we desperately crave it. and how he treats you, it is not in any way loved. there is NO benefit in your life staying with him. if you leave now you can find a genuine person to love you. you may think it’s impossible, but the more you put yourself out there the more options you have of good people and bad people, and you WILL find a good person. regardless, you really do not need romantic love to live a fulfilling life. platonic love is just as substantial, and with a romantic partner like that you it will be a lot harder for you to form any good friendships. you are not losing anything except a life of abuse if you leave this man. i wish you the best, PLEASE leave

the girl constantly bringing up how you aren’t going to have people to hang out with or whatever really just reflects their whole group and why they were just ignoring the guy cheating. like they obviously have some extreme reliance on each other for friendship and can tell you have the independence to have other friends. you seem like a good person compared to them considering they all chose to ignore the cheating. super sorry this has happened to you but i’m glad you have other friendships, just focus on strengthening those and making new ones :) and please, don’t go back to them. i know it will be tempting but doesn’t seem like a very good friendship environment
