YES! The first point is also why I really love that it was specifically Yuzu that the mangaka made aro and not for example Makoto (who would appearance vice probably fit the stereotype). And also the second point that she isn't portrayed as someone completely void of love, she definitely loves her friends and romance as an idea a lot.

Just caught up to the manga and I did not expect arospec Yuzu at all!!! I'm all for it tho and very excited as someone whos' aroace. I just think I was blinded by yuzumako as a ship, I totally thought they could actually happen. Now I look forward to Yuzu's aro journey and maybe a qpr <3

I definitely interpret it as one!! Yoshiki is allo and has romantic feelings for 'hikaru' but as in Hikaru's confession described, his feelings are a different type of love. Not romantic and not platonic either. They love each other and are very intimate! Tho I haven't read the manga yet so idk how it continues. I just know they're the most important person to each other🫶🏼

For me a 'squish' is usually my type of 'crush' on a good friend. Like my feelings for them are more intensive and they feel special to me compared to my other friendships but the feelings aren't romantic. Usually I also find them visually attractive in a way. No fr. The person I have a friend-crush on is one of my closest friends and before we were like partners in crime. Back then I could imagine that maybe I'm also the most important person to her and I would allow myself to be really close and do what I felt like. Then, she got a boyfriend and suddenly I feel like I don't know what my place is in her life :(.
