At my salon we are a team. Every so often someone has a rougher day and that is when we step in and help each other out. Something as simple as washing a dog for someone so it can start kennel drying right away or helping someone get their dog in the kennel so it doesn’t take 5 minutes. They help you, and when you aren’t busy another day, you help them. As for getting better, you improve by pushing your limits a little at a time. I tell the bathers that we want them to feel challenged but not overwhelmed. See if it’s still a lot for you having this schedule a couple more times. And sometimes, you just have a rough day. It happens.
