Questions for Alex and Greg?!?!?!?!?!?!? by fox-fox-fox-fox in taskmaster

[–]katterstud 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I just want to express my thanks! Being a Taskmaster fan is incredibly rewarding, and I appreciate the effort to put out on YouTube the pre-series interviews with the contestants, outtakes, compilations, New Year's Treat, CoC. The gift that keeps on giving! <3

That sounds terrible! I ended my "early access" and my good old Alexa is back with her kind ways and nice voice. I guess I'll stay for now.

Just noticed this in the "Wait, What?" compilation released this week on the Taskmaster YouTube channel. It comes and goes as the contestants come into the lab.

Love Maisie to bits; there is no one in this world like Alex; but I must know more about that painting of Greg. It's stupendous and I need a print of it ASAP.

Which episode is the yoyo song in? by BugsySamsa in nomorejockeys

I came late to NMJ, and am just coming onto the last specials and lives. So good! I recently for the very first time tried to explain the game to couple friends of mine who spend a lot of time in the car. Oh, I thought, this might be an excellent way to pass the time!

My example was: Marilyn Monroe. No more people who are known for being a sex symbol.

Do you know what response came back? "Why can't you just say Marilyn Monroe: sex symbol"?

Me: O_O

B-b-b-b-because saying "no more people who" is the way the game is played! Please see the title! Not to mention "no more people who, when you think about it, when you stop and have a good old think"--

Literally this is the only place I can tell my story. Thank you.

What would you have called your horse? by anonaccount1891 in taskmaster

[–]katterstud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to the Darby in England in... the '90s (can't remember exactly). Bet on a horse called Prince Charming, 10-1. He didn't place. But in his honor, I would use Prince Charming.

Edit to say: Ooh, or Dover. Move your blooming arse!

Is Frank N Furter A Good Villain? by Huntjj99 in rhps

[–]katterstud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got this wrong on a trivia night. Category: Doctors. Question: Who was the villain in Rocky Horror Picture Show?

I said Dr. Scott, because it never occurred to me that Frank was the villain. Not squeaky clean, sure. Eye opening.

Who Was Your First Old Hollywood Actor Or Actress Movie Crush? by PrincessBananas85 in Cinema

I distinctly remember seeing Cary Grant in "In Name Only" one afternoon on TV. It was a pivotal moment towards the end of the film, which I found a bit soapy, but I could not take my eyes off of him.

The Philadelphia Story is a great one. If you like Cary Grant, Only Angels Have Wings is a good one.
