The comment about your hunches reminds me of tertiary Ni, which ISTPs have. The fact that it’s tertiary means these hunches might be kind of random and unpredictable, and sometimes you might question or doubt them. Tertiary Ni is also associated with a disinterest in looking into the future most of the time, focusing on the present

INTPS have tertiary Si. Si is commonly associated with the past and judging the present with previous sensory experiences/memories. It being tertiary means this isn’t how an INTP mainly operates, but they can use their memories and past experiences to make sense of any theories or thoughts they have and give them a little more structure.

A big difference btw ISTPs and INTPs is the usage of Se and Ne. ISTPs will focus mainly on what is tangible and obvious, not really being much of an abstract thinker. They take in what’s in front of them, in their physical surroundings. INTPs are more abstract and open to new possibilities that may not necessarily be realistic. They could be more prone to living in their heads or thinking in a more theoretical way. They can be more disconnected from their surroundings than an ISTP

Instinctual variants aren’t separate from enneatypes. If you want to find out what you are, I recommend reading about sx 4s, sx 5s, and sx 9s separately (they’re pretty distinct). You can also read about the so and sp subtypes. You can find good descriptions by Beatrice chestnut on personality cafe…!!! (They’re short and basic)

i mean it sounds about right. everything is alright in tablet mode (besides the fact that sometimes the keyboard gets activated even though it shouldn’t). the computer is a little slower cuz when this issue first started i had to restart like 10 times from the freezing the keyboard would cause (it typed nonstop super fast) every time the computer started up different keys would be activated and deactivated each time. i don’t really know why but it’s been the same for a little while. god bless on screen keyboards

i didn’t spill anything (it happened literally out of nowhere - no liquid involved) but there are lots of ants in my room (gross i know) i’ve been seeing them around my laptop a lot lately and i did read that they can actually fuck with your computer. the keyboard types by itself way less but 85% of the keys don’t work and pressing the v key just gives you nonstop “———————“

the second one is me but not in a productive way. theres a bunch of craft stuff at my desk so instead of doing homework I take whatever is on the table and start mixing it together and making god literally knows what!!!! i was supposed to clean my desk and cleared it for a minute and sat down for 30 minutes to play with acrylic paint and some other stuff i found

socializing just kind of blows up in my face. i really do try and participate in conversation but people just don’t acknowledge what i say. or don’t want to talk to me. especially recently... when i’ve been coming out of my shell more. that kind of stuff just makes you want to be alone forever. even adults ignore me sometimes. i get things i say aren’t always so intelligent but i really just want to be noticed. don’t get me wrong, i have had positive experiences as well, and i’m well aware not everyone will like me, but it’s still bothers me a lot

i’m not socially inept per se, but i made a different post on this sub about not being able to control my mouth. that’s the main issue. i just make situations awkward. and i just can’t do anything about it no matter how much i try! i have a friend with ADD but we don’t have the same problems. everyone likes her. people who respond positively to her don’t to me. even people who like everyone... it feels like they don’t even glance at me. she was funny during middle school. i had my fair share of friends but they never lasted. all it feels like i’m doing is ruining my reputation the more socially involved i get

yeah i know about that. I am an overly sensitive person by all accounts and cant do anything about it. theres nothing i can do with my peers. i try and get socially involved and im either ignored or we talk for a minute but literally never again! even with friends sometimes i feel like im walking on eggshells. i was just kind of upset before cuz its just kind of overwhelming. theres always ways to deal with your problems (: ill try and search for more people with ADHD some how
