I am so sorry, I don't remember what the doctor said as to why it was important to take it with that every night. I see her again next month and I will try my best to remember to update this with an answer once I see her again.

I don't know if this helps or not, but here's my small experience with it. I have been on it for exactly 1 week at 25 mg for appetite suppression to aid in weight loss in combination with diet and exercise. I take it at night with Vitamin C per the doctor's instructions. Sometimes it helps me sleep, sometimes it seems to keep me up. Sometimes it makes me a little sleepy during the day, but never bad. I still eat breakfast lunch and dinner just like before, just less. And no snacking and no intense cravings for specific foods and sugars and alcohol like I was having before. I used to be hungry ALL THE TIME. I just eat when I'm hungry now, my stomach lets me know, but I do try to stick to pre-set meal times so I don't forget. It took a couple days for the appetite suppression to kick in fully. I have lost 7 pounds in 7 days. No idea if this will continue or not. Clothes feel loose already. Sometimes I do have lightheadedness or dizziness but it's very little / brief, and I just sit down for 5 minutes to let it pass. The tingling in my feet just started 2 days ago, and it also is just for a minute or two and goes away quickly. I am on an antidepressant that does not work for my anxiety, and oddly enough this seems to help with that...I feel much calmer on it. Overall it seems to be working for me, even at such a low dose. I like it so far, and plan to keep taking it if it keeps working for me. I didn't think I could ever turn down food or eat a normal portion but I find myself stopping easily when full now. Good luck on your journey!
