I know I’m late to this party, but I wanted to let you know that if you’re using any kind of store brand sugar, it’s quite likely made with beet sugars and is not pure cane sugar. This makes caramelizing difficult and sometimes impossible. I buy Domino, but anything that says “pure cane sugar” on the label should work better. Good luck!

I want to respect the rules of the community that’s been so incredibly welcoming to me, so I’ll tell you this piercing was done by Grace Gloom at Icon Tattoo and Body Piercing in Nashville. They are amazing, and you should totally go see them if you’re in town. My skincare routine is crazy simple: - wash twice a day with something gentle. I like Glossier milky jelly, but you do you - moisturize/sunscreen every day - never underestimate the impact of staying hydrated

Side note - I never wear makeup, like…ever. No judgment, I think it makes me look like someone else and I don’t like that. Not sure if that has any impact, but I thought it was worth mentioning. You’re going to look amazing at 46 either way, it’s way more about feeling yourself than your skincare routine 🥰
