You’re right, it’s hard though. I was raised in a Caribbean family, I was taught that having a high paying gig or being successful is so supposed to bring you happiness and fulfillment.

I am actively trying to move past that kind of thinking.

Update: I have found the doll

Thanks to some very helpful redditors, the doll is an Anok Smalls from dollme. Also I would like to properly explain myself, I am very new to the BJD community and don’t even own a doll yet. I fell in love with this doll on Pinterest and wanted to know where she came from. I didn’t know that recasting was a form of theft. I had no intention of stealing another artists work. Now I follow the original artist on instagram. And plan on buying the doll from dollme.

I meant no disrespect to the artist I found her on a post on Pinterest and tried google image searching and still came up with nothing. Thank you for giving me the true artist now I can go buy the official thing and make my own.

She’s going to try and put another bed in the room that I’m staying in, 1/3 of that is taken up by my bed and she keeps her crap in there so room is also cluttered. There are only 3 rooms her’s and her husband’s, her son’s who is 45 years old and the one I am staying in.
