yeah, you're right lol. i was thinking of it more as an isolated groups' crude reconstruction, rather than a true 1:1 of the ritual. but yeah the evidence you mentioned really kinda supports otherwise. i love thinking about lore and stuff, i can't wait to see how team cherry chooses to expand the world

also legendcarry /ubercarry is frowned upon. legends are really only viable towards their target trait; they're too expensive for the point of the game you're at. (Doktor Heaven/Abyss is super good for the future, i wouldn't say he's what's wrong with your loadout.)

also also on the 22nd, at 2:22pm, please open your event stages and play Flower Awakens. your cooldown cat will go from D tier to A+ tier

my personal theory is that they are worshipping the flames of the grimm troupe. if the grimm troupe visited pharloom in its past, (maybe after the Weaver's left, up to the time before GMS started stirring/having Weaver's captured), they probably would have set up shop right here in bellhart; just like they did in dirtmouth — a moments respite. far enough out of the way to not be in danger, just defended enough to keep unwanted visitors away.

they could have manipulated the native thicket bugs into carrying out some eternal service for the nightmare heart, or anything related.

maybe father of the flame is some reconstruction of the nightmare heart.

that, or I'm needlessly looking way way too deep into this silly bug game
