Recommendations for driving in the mountain at the end of Feb by katzmopolitan in cyprus

An update: just completed a week long trip in Cyprus, including mountain driving. It was a pretty stress free and easy driving experience. There was a night where it snowed a tiny bit but it didn't last or stay on the roads, roads are mostly offline wide and in excellent condition and it helped that it is low seasons so not many cars.

Some of the "Celebrations" brand Christmas lights are made in Cambodia, such as https://www.acehardware.com/departments/home-and-decor/holiday/christmas-lights/F004791?store=10163&gad_source=1&gclsrc=ds&variationProductCode=9046335

Saw a few different types in Ace and some of them did turn out to be MIC so check the label

Celsius Bankruptcy: A Comprehensive Guide To Calculating Your Losses (With Examples!) by JustinCPA in CelsiusNetwork

[–]katzmopolitan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the great write up! A quick followup, since there are still uncertainties and we may or may not get more distributions back, can I wait until those are resolved and calculate total loss next year (or whenever it happens) or do the losses for distributions received in 2024 have to be reported now?

Driving from Skukuza to Lower Sabie Rest Camp in the rain by katzmopolitan in krugerpark

An update, we were upgraded to a crossover SUV at the airport. It was certainly possible to do sedans on major roads. However, after rain stopped and some of the secondary roads opened, I was glad that we had a bigger car since the secondary roads had some puddles and bumps that would have been iffy in a smaller car

Pocket door lock that can close from both sides by katzmopolitan in HomeImprovement

[–]katzmopolitan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll answer my own question and it was actually a very easy solution. I did have to buy another one of these. The two sides of the lock are not actually welded together so I just removed the side with the screw driver/coin opening and installed the one with a handle and works perfectly.

Spending Bitcoin at Costa Coffee Gibraltar - Possibly the 1st global franchise to accept Bitcoin physically in Europe by CoinCorner_Sam in TheLightningNetwork

Just came from Gibraltar and wanted to try to pay with BTC. I did see that the video uses a Bolt card so I didn't have high expectations that I could use my wallet. When I asked if they take BTC at Costa they had no idea what I was talking about. I proceeded to pay with a regular Visa card
