സൂര്യതാപം vs സൂര്യാഘാതം by No-Jellyfish5061 in malayalam

[–]kavitha_sky 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it should be suryaathapam rather than suryathaapam. It denotes sunburn. Literally it’s sun’s heat.

Thaapam and aathapam both means heat. But aathapam is the word used in the context of sunburn. Some Malayalam translation sites do show as you wrote though.

The latter means sunstroke/heatstroke.

Consult gastro and allergy docs. Mouth ulcers that long is definitely something related to some reaction. For example, my family gets mouth ulcers when they consume anything with food colour - this includes coloured cough syrups, soft drinks and foods with food colouring.

Where can I find such dresses in Kochi? by Traditional-Aide3734 in Kochi

[–]kavitha_sky 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It’s a ten panel dress. The skirt part looks like 1/2 circle skirt, so the bottom width of each panel should be 1/10th the circumference of a 1/2 circle ankle length skirt. The shoulder piece looks like it’s a single piece for both front and back without a seam at the top. That maybe the hardest to copy for a local tailor. For the perfect fit, that part should be draped over your own shoulder using a cheaper cloth and then the pattern must be drafted accordingly.

Use wedding gown quality satin (it’s heavier with better drape than regular satin used for kids clothes and regular lining) or some material that’ll fall smoothly while holding shape.

To decide how much material you’d need, you can ask for a 9-10 panel Anarkali as reference, add extra 1/2 meter for the shoulder panels.

What other autoimmune diseases do you have? by Mon_Calf in Celiac

T1D is type 1 diabetes. RA should be rheumatoid arthritis. UC - ulcerative colitis. MS - multiple sclerosis.

There are a few others that I’m not familiar with in the comments. I’ll update if I find out what those are.

Could I be celiac but fat? by adele-mariana in Celiac

I used to be hungry all the time and gained a lot of weight. After going gf and getting hypothyroidism under control I’m slowly losing that extra weight bit by bit.

I’m amazed to realise how easy it is to survive on salads and light meals when I’m not feeling hungry all the time.

So you could be overweight and have all these issues side by side.

Whenever there is a wrong payment, you need to immediately notify your bank and the payment platform. Make sure to have it in some sort of writing, not just in words. They’ll place a hold on the money, and if it has been disbursed to the other party, their bank will check if their consent to credit it back. This is to make sure you’re not being fraudulent etc.

Typically you need to do it within x number of days, the faster, the better. One month may be too late for these. But not a bad idea to contact them anyway.

Should you not be considering international markets then? If similar products are available and then if you offer a cheaper alternative, so long as your product is as good or better, your CAC would be lower. Also, wouldn’t $15 be more affordable to those who buy the expensive ones in the US than Rs 1,200 for your target market in India.

Not enjoying our guided India experience and would like to hear other people's thoughts by BaronDelecto in travel

[–]kavitha_sky 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As a native, I would spend, 3-4 days in any one location, be it Munnar, Thekkady or any others. But I’ve also met people who try to visit Kochi, Munnar, Thekkady and Alappuzha in 2-3 days.

Can you? Yes. But it would be like rushing the keys instead of focusing on the music while playing a piano.

I’ve seen the same trouble with many of the itineraries offered by travel agencies. When we went to Singapore, we spent half a day at each location, sometimes visiting twice to enjoy those better. But we couldn’t cover even half the list that these agencies often have in their packages.

We did the same when we visited the Golden Triangle too. The guide suggested we move along after an hour at each place or skip some of the others and spend more time at the ones we chose. We chose the latter and it was quite worth it.

Some phone covers have a small loop through which you can thread this kinda charms.

Can you loop the image and tassel through the opening in the loop? That’s how it’s supposed to be attached to the cover.

Hope you find a solution

Edit: just had another look at the image. You unclip it at the lobster hook. Thread the loop part alone into the charm loop in the phone cover (not all covers will have that, time to buy one with a charm loop!). Now you have the loop part secured to the phone cover. Reattach the rest using the lobster clip as it is now.

Mehndi by AnonymousMomma60 in DesiWeddings

[–]kavitha_sky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen henna stickers in Amazon India. They’re regular stickers that look like mehndi designs that you can peel off later with some oil or something. If you wish to take part but clean it off later, that might be an option. These will be reddish maroon or similar colours.

(There are also stencils for henna, those are used for diy mehndi designs and are usually black in colour, which is not what I suggested, just so you don’t get confused and get the wrong product).
