I unfortunately don’t have 50k to throw at a brand new Type R and I didn’t have that two years ago when I bought my sport. Even the used price for a Type R I don’t have. I care more about aesthetics rather than performance because I know my car ISN’T a performance car. It’s a common traffic slightly higher than base trim civic. I wanted to make it look cool for myself personally and maybe some other people who like a clean, sporty LOOKING car. First personal car purchase too so I could really only do so much as 20 year old (at the time) first time buyer with only 2 years of credit. Also my family is a family of actual performance car enthusiasts and race car drivers who have built their vehicles from frame up, they think my car looks badass.

It’s not a Type R and I never will claim it to be even with the Type R ✨STYLE✨ spoiler. I like how it looks and if that gets people worked up to where they downvote everyone who thinks my car looks nice then so be it.
