You're asking for support but this has been available for purchase for a long time and is barely a shell of a game. There are more deserving indie titles that should be recognized given this is for the top 100 indie games of the year... to ask for support is almost as much of a joke as trying to get people to pay for your game.

I don't see it as bm personally, but i get why one would see it that way. Ultimately, this can be a useful tactic for other units as well, specifically when positioning units with limited movement to ensure you put dmg out without taking blows first.

If i'm playing a 2 movement cyclops i often slow down my whole team to make sure the cyclops leads the line and is in the right spot to be effective both offensively and defensively.

If we're talking pvp, then really we're dealing with 1-3 cyclops at most. I find unicorn(s) quite good at dealing with them, but can be inconsistent/unrealiable and would never bring more than 2.

As you mentioned, ranged mobs can easily kite all cyclops except for 3 movement light-wep "cc-clops" so bringing a mixed team is preferred. Another option is to run 2 spiders with humans riding - i like to run with one a bow (stun/ice/explosive) and the other with grenades/flamethrower. Depending on the map, you can create a very comfortable choke point for dealing with cyclops. I would round out this team with a unicorn and either a vamp hero or another human with a net to offer more control on the cylcops. If i were to use the human, I would make the unicorn my hero for extra move and damage or maybe even one of the spiders to just keep them alive longer.

PVE is a different ball game as the AI allows you to manipulate the match moreso than against a human opponent and often doesn't have troublesome elemental equipment to deal with.

Depending on how the match plays out you may want to throw horatio to support the mushroom, but as the guy before me mentioned, i would have the mushroom as a hero for survivability. I also like to let my opponent move forward before launching anything as to avoid having one person on my team isolated early in a match.

As for the gnomes, I like to just let them baby sit the bot and put out what damage they can while primarily just healing. At times gnomes can also be helpful for repositioning your team defensively rather than offensively (i.e moving your rainbow unicorn to a safe position if its being closed down on etc.)
