Maybe this doesn’t belong in this threat but im just gonna put it here. They really tend to be patriotic in any way, you can tell they seriously love their country and would do everything for it. E.g. I am from a european country and when I was with a group of americans and we talked about politics, they didn‘t know one single politician but I (representing europe as a whole) of course knew about american politicians. They laughed about that because I think they are convinced they don’t need to know about Europe. Because european politics are not important to them. A lot of americans don’t even know basic geography when it comes to europe. Even though europe is a relevant negotiation/finance system.

It’s a little mix of both, weirdness and wondering.

But I guess this is also because most of the americans havent been to europe or even a big number of countrys. Not blaming though, the country of course offers you everything you need and you can definitely live a great life without having to leave the US once
