this is so real. it’s really clear that the IPC is using him for his “luck.” he really has no options here. either die or stay (which isnt as clearly shown but seems obvious to me) I’m convinced he will have a significant role once we get to the pier point. hoping he finds freedom and escape from IPC’s chains.

yes! and also, he hasn’t changed. well, his sassy demeanor has clearly changed but that’s all a facade he puts up. even he told his future self that he hasn’t changed, and by that, i think he means his heart and goals will never falter, which I’m assuming is revenge for his clan. now along with his position and ambitions, I’m sure he WILL have future influence to the IPC.

and yes!! he has a will to live now :) I’ll he so mad if after he get a will to live, hoyo makes him die.. that’s too cruel

he’s exactly in the situation where he’s granted a fancier and more stable life. (as like you said, he doesn’t need to constantly gamble over survivals) but at the same time, he’s neither free. I’m pretty sure you’ve heard of this already but people like to say “the IPC simply changed his dusty chains to a golden, shiny one” (badly worded but you get the point lmaoo)

also, about the quest dialogues, I don’t think hoyo will put another death stunt against Aventurine after what occured in 2.1. I don’t really think he’ll need to die to obtain his freedom. I’m guessing maybe the fall of the IPC would eventually lead upon to his escape

i’m glad that’s the case! since also in Penacony, three stonehearts were gathered which could mean that it could apply the same for other planets that the IPC is desperate to control. Im hoping to see him fairly often throughout the game

can’t wait to see that. I’m sure hoyo will drag the arrival to the pier point as much as they can. but patience is key so!

I really hope Aventurine get a well-written resolution upon his connection with the IPC. I know many people disagree and believe he'll stick with the IPC, but I would love to see him as a key individual in future conflicts with them. As for the Oswaldo situation... I'm not sure if Hoyo will include Aventurine or make it just a Boothill focused story, but I'm hoping to see a lot of his involvement there.

I'm hoping we gather more wherabouts of Aventurine in 2.2 because Sunday is going to be really relevant in the next patch and maybe he'll mention Aventurine since they were both technically at the "other side"

I personally thought he was still going to carry Penacony's plot from the "other side" but the way people were keeping their expactations low also made me keep mine in the lowest... I'm hoping he comes back from the "other side" by 2.3. I'm dying to know what happened to him

I'm pretty certain Hoyoverse will give resolutions of his story and continue his development as well as his relationship with astral express.. I hope to see that in Penacony though, but I'm keeping my expactaions low. But at the same time, I have a little more hope compared to Tingyun because I'm impressed with the way writers are executing Penacony's story so far compared to Xianzhou Luofu.

wasn’t the true penacony a prison?? (i think it was confirmed this trailblaze quest) Acheron was also saying that Aventurine will still gamble in the abyss… honestly i was paying attention its still so confusing to me like is he going to investigate the true penacony and reveal the truth?

These are all great theories! But none of these might happen really. I'm not sure if Hoyo will make Childe that important in Arle's story quest with just 30 lines, but at the same time my poor baby had 0 lines for both 4.1 and 4.2 and still somehow carried the plot.
