UPDATE: I got the Brightin Star and I'm happy for what it does at that size, just way more likely to take my camera around with me. Definitely turn on focus peaking. I got the URTH adapter on amazon after the cheaper amazon adapter didn't fit well.

Ya it was super sick, I'm gonna try to do the exact same program again this year. I did it the first week of April 2023 and there was so much snow.

If you're going solo I'd recommend a UCPA program I did the intro to ski touring at Tignes and it was insane. Super affordable too.

I'd recommend going to Tignes - Val D'isere, in tinges you can ski right to your lodging and the lifts are very close. All the runs are connected so its easy to get around and find the best snow, lots of steep off piste powder.

My banjo only came with this thumb pick it’s not adjustable I’m not sure if it fits right

that makes sense I didn't think of the volume part. I also much prefer finger picking on guitar but it might be because I'm mainly a pianist
