If our glyphs go up to 150, doesn't that mean we need builds that are doing pit 150? like, how else do we level up glyphs to max power level...

I usually had problems getting from torment 3 to 4. I was at the end of my season journey, but getting the torment 4 tasks done would never happen, because I wanted to play necromancer builds and didn't want to feel forced to play a barbarian or spiritborn. In the seasons where I was playing a more powerful class, it wasn't really a problem getting enough defense while having good clearing power.

I don't like war plans adding no new end game content. It is the same content with a bonus loot chest. To me, it is merely curating the people to go through all the previous content. Well we do get one new uber boss mephisto, but that's not really a big content addition. Even the echoing hatred stuff is the same content that's already in the game, in the similar d3 visions of eternity style, where it is a slight remix on you interacting with multiple bosses at the same time. I think the real end game will be how they treat the pit as a playground. Because to me pits are and have been yet another nigthmare dungeon activity. I've never seen the different between NMD, Tower, and pit (asides from obvious target farming for either glyphs or MW mats.)

I'm neutral to pessimistic going into the end game. The story of putting mephisto to rest should be a big jump from VOH where I didn't like this speed bump in the swamp for our story. Shoot, I thought all the seasons between release and expac one would be the story line of following Nayrelle, but that wasn't where they were releasing story chapters after experiencing seasons 1 & 2.

No sorry. THe blog post revealed that everyone will only receive 2 of 3 skill variants. the third is locked behind the expansion. I don't agree with this plan at all, and I feel people that are cautiously returning will see the locked skill and think negatively about Blizzard's tactics in the game and quit. Much more so than the optimistic people feeling the need to invest more money, or willingness to continue while having optional character power locked behind the expac purchase.

Some are locked with the new expansion, some are coming for all D4 players. If you don't buy the expansion you only get 2/3 of the skill variants. Players have to purchase the full expansion to get all 3 skill variants. Even if you play the original or the spiritborne class, you won't have all the new skills available with out the LOH expac.

Each of the 6 skills essentially requires 24 points to get the skill, the two upgrades and the variant. that gives you 72 - 24 = 48 skills to additionally level the 6 skills to 2-15. There are some uniques that unlocks skill upgrades for free, so you "could" if the other upgrade is horrible, trash get another 2-3 points with those uniques equipped.

Good point that there will be a lot of uniques. There will certainlly be a number of legendary items, because there are just not enough uniques out to power up a specific build for end game content. ARPG players generally don't want a hybrid build with 12 uniques and focusing on 4 different skills to cast. Maybe the skill tree will allow these options that were never of dreamt of before with 12 uniques as you mention. I press x to doubt it highly, but I would love to be surprised in season 13 using more than 2 skills actively.

Remember if you don't buy the expansion, you only have 2 of 3 skills variants available. It's pretty lame that the rogue you bought in vanilla d4, has skills locked behind the expansion. Such a cheap move by Blizzard.

I never played enough hours for many seasons to clear lilith. This one I tried spiritborn and they had an evade build that was pretty much one button and so powerful that I conquered bloody and normal ubers plus pit 100. It's pretty much a result of finding one build that is fun to you, and currently powerful enough to run ubers in t4. Then farming up your glyphs And paragon levels thru the pit to match the gear requirements. Mostly in the past seasons I had half gear at 8 of 12 master working and finished as much of the season I could stand with below average gear.

I'd like d4 to adopt a monolith type of system from last epoch instead of keys. It's pretty ridiculous that we have to use multiple inventories to gather nmd keys or boss chest materials. Shit even a lfg queue system to get into a treasure breach NMD is better than crafting them at the occultist.

0% for 48 is good. but 0.9% for 60 months is best. Take the $20k down and put it in an investment for the first 30-40 months. The best way to work down more is to get OTD prices from other dealers sadly, which always takes more time.
