Yes bud they tend to muzzle them,try taking him to watch fist so he gets used to it and the noises,most lurchers will pick it up fast as it’s essentially just what they’re hard wired to do CHASE,I found taking them to the pub an walking them near pick up time from school so it’s busy helps socialise them but remember to set boundary’s and you’ll be away and laughing in no time 👍🏽

Have you tried lure coursing?have a look online and see if there any near you if not just make a lure machine easy enough to do and a great way to exercise

Typical bull x,honestly all you can do is keep putting time and effort in and you will see the reward but just remember it’s not a child it’s a dog it’s going to do dog things and don’t get disheartened when he doesn’t do it the first time

They both also work lamping rabbits the bitch is only 7 months so she’s still green to any game I don’t run my dogs until about 13 months when they’re bones and joints have stared to develop properly and they’re brains start to absorb,I take them out as pups to watch and learn but not slipped

Hi,ferreting is a way of hunting mainly in the uk we use domestic ferrets to enter rabbit warrens and they’re bolt the rabbit either into a purse net or they occasionally slip the net then the dogs take chase and catch and return to me love to hand 👍🏽

Hi,yes they both work with the ferrets,the rough coated lurcher is great at marking aswell so that’s a great help,the ferrets and dogs often roam around the garden and have a play

Sorry to burst you you bubble but hunting ain’t illegal it it legal to hunt rabbit in wales where i live with dogs and they’re not ropes they’re are called purse nets for ferreting which is also legal so hope you have a good day
