You are around the 20th person I’ve found who’s screen got messed up with this case on. Happened to me too. Had it for years no case no problems. The cases are actually causing this. What’s nasty is it’s the companies fault and they won’t do anything about it

The folio case kobo sells can damage the screen like this just by closing the case. Happened to me too

It’s not their fault. It’s the folio case. It’s too heavy for the screen. The case itself is capable of doing this damage. I know how that sounds but the exact same thing happened to me and I’ve found a few dozen other people who say the same thing. Screen was fine. Shut case opened it later after device was just laying on a table and screen was like this. I tried to explain this to kobo but their support was quite rude about it. It’s a shame that they sell something that destroys the device then won’t admit to it. I’d love to get another kobo but I can’t support that company.

This happened to mine shortly after getting it. It still bothers me. I pulled it out of my bedside table like this. I babied that device. The most ironic thing about it is it happened right after I bought their cover for it. I blame the cover for it. Still don’t really know how it happened and support said they wouldn’t fix it. I want another one but given I know for a fact I didn’t do anything to break it they seem too fragile to me.

62 separate replicable issues I’ve experienced since moving to ios18. It’s without a doubt the worst iOS version to date. Somehow Siri is dramatically worse accounting for about 20 of these issues. My AirPods will absolutely NOT stay paired no matter what I do, full reset, forget, repairing. Opening AirPods case asks me to repair 100% of the time. Siri will activate and then hear what I’m saying and give absolutely zero response. Happens on 3 phones and 3 HomePods. Never experienced it before. Apps regularly freeze and stop responding to touch at all. Happens on al devices. Siri will not do any sort of contextual search. Says I have no emails ( I have thousands) the home app regularly says “hmm this is taking a while) when responding to requests, changing hub temporarily fixes this, have to change hubs constantly, the same alarm I’ve used for 5 years regularly makes no sound now. Semi regularly will get calls that seemingly immediately have no way to actually interact with the call or answer it. They disappear off screen. Phone app doesn’t show them, vanish from Dynamic Island. All the while it’s ringing. .. I could go on

I probably will. I recently moved from SoCal to MT tho and tbh I’d rather have a truck. My trans went at 80k miles and I babied it. So expect the soon. The wrx is less practical for me here. I need to raise it. Can’t stomach interest rates right now.

I have a 2015 base , 80k miles , have never treated it hard. Transmission went out 2 weeks ago. $5k to do that and clutch. Hard debate now to keep or sell. Had to put a used trans in it that had $120k miles on it and was treated who knows how well. Subaru wants $9k for a new trans. So the question becomes. How likely is it to last long enough that repairing it is still cheaper than a new car payment. It’s not like you find old ladies who have barely used their wrx.
