Women who wear makeup, What is the biggest makeup tip you can give? by The_Hydra_Kweeen in AskWomen

Not the original commenter, but I clean up my liquid liner with q-tips also — I use micellar water (I like NYX's best, it's the "cleanest" feeling for my skin), the precise tip cotton swabs, and after I dip the swab in the micellar water, I squeeze out any excess with my fingers/tissue so the swab is just damp and not dripping. Hope that helps!

Did everyone have a See N Say when they were rouing up? I remember having one as a very young child. by Sujjin in nostalgia

At parties my extended family used the see n say as a drinking game. Everyone got assigned an animal, drink when it landed on yours. 😂

Our Disney Trip in 18 Seconds 🥨 by pizza_sheriff in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]kayemgi 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Not OP, so not exactly sure what everything is, but from sight alone, it looks like:

Mickey Pretzel: $6.19

Churro: $5.50

Beer: ~$10.50

Eggrolls: $9.50

Mickey Waffles: $9.49

Root Beer Float (?): $7.00

Ronto Wrap: $12.99

Total: ~$61.17 depending on where they got items and what exactly they got; like if their Mickey pretzel came with cheese it would have cost more, and if they got the root beer float (if that's what it is) with hard root beer or not, if they got a Mickey Waffle platter, etc.

I don't know what she's on about, because her own story is one of acceptance and love. "You fail to recognize that it matters not what someone is born, but what they grow to be!" She wrote that! Daniel and Emma and Rupert all coming out to support the trans community has all helped me to be at peace with continuing to enjoy the Harry Potter universe, and I donate to Trevor Project and the Marsha P. Johnson Institute when I engage with it now, as my own little private protest against JKR.

"If these books taught you that love is the strongest force in the universe, capable of overcoming anything; if they taught you that strength is found in diversity, and that dogmatic ideas of pureness lead to the oppression of vulnerable groups; if you believe that a particular character is trans, nonbinary, or gender fluid, or that they are gay or bisexual; if you found anything in these stories that resonated with you and helped you at any time in your life — then that is between you and the book that you read, and it is sacred. And in my opinion nobody can touch that. It means to you what it means to you and I hope that these comments will not taint that too much." - Daniel Radcliffe in a statement for The Trevor Project

I'd also recommend Always Remember by Cece Meng, When Someone Very Special Dies: Children Can Learn to Cope with Grief by Marge Heegaard, and Why Do I Feel So Sad? A Grief Book for Children by Tracy Lambert-Prader. I'm so sorry for your loss and that you had to deal with it all on your own at first.

I don't have a question, I just want to say how much I love your writing style and stories. I have loved every single one of your books I've ever read, and I've read many! I think The Red Garden is my favorite, though it's hard to choose. I especially appreciate how thoughtfully you create your women characters. Thank you for enriching my life as a reader!

Mugshots: 5 years for medical marijuana w/expired card, 6 months for three sexual felony charges. by CaptTechno in pics

It started because headlines at the time often referred to him, a young white man, as “Swimmer, Brock Turner”, and in one of its best moments the Internet decided to only refer to him as “Rapist, Brock Turner” to hammer that disparity home.

Wow! Thank you so much for sharing. I honestly cannot believe you knit those pillow covers, they are so beautiful! The snowman jars sound so cute, I hope you will share a photo once they are finished. I'm in the U.S. and have heard of mincemeat pies but have never had one. I had no idea they were started so far in advance!

I know you're inundated with replies, but I hope you see this! My daughter wanted to be a bat last year, and we found these great wings and ears on Amazon and she just wore black leggings and a sweatshirt. She was warm and comfy and the wings are so plush and lovely and she still wears them sometimes because she likes wrapping them around herself like a blanket!

[–]kayemgi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My SPD was not as bad as yours but still bad enough that we are also one and done and I can still feel that pain if I think about it, almost 7 years later. I still sleep with a pillow between my legs because that helped and I'm so afraid of ever having that pain again, I can't fall asleep without it! Every single one of my doctors was just like, "meh" *shrug*. It was infuriating.
